Is this a coach from a nearby school, as in same county?Cypress wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 11:12 pmYep Gonna be HUGERolling Rock wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 10:48 pm Meigs has reportedly has a new coach coach in agreement, won't be official until the next board meeting, The hire will shock many

Gets a chance to watch his senior son play and just be a dad for once. Happy that he gets to go out on his own terms.THEConvoK9 wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 10:58 amYes.Whs95fan wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 10:36 amThat comes as a shock to me, coaching football still?THEConvoK9 wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 9:34 am Matt Hoops has just stepped down at Unioto for Basketball.
Also, the program is in very good shape and has 3 in-house candidates that could carry the program forward, although one isn’t a teacher, so that’s unlikely.

Yeah the only thing I don’t like about it is the prospects of who his replacement could be. But it’s still an absolutely solid hire.danicalifornia wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 1:04 pmVery good hire for Meigs!formerfcfan wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 12:58 pmNews broke just now up this way on Twitter. Howie is not going to Meigs. He won't coach anything about DIV because he have a much better chance of getting out of sectional and districts in DIV than any other division.

Rinkes is out at West Muskingum. Non renewed. Bad move by West. Coaching world gets worse and worse !
Re: Coaching Openings
If the new hire at Meigs is who I have heard it is coming, big time hire. Shocker.

The Meigs hire should be official this week, I believe there is a board meeting this week. From what I have heard he has already resigned up north
