That league won't last long. I was actually thinking about attending one of the games in Reynoldsburg but won't waste my time now. What a mess!

I received a phone call today from one of the league members and a coach of the team that is supposed to play at Reynoldsburg this week against the Columbus Fire. He said they won't know until later in the week if the Fire is actually going to be able to use that field. The Fire was supposed to have hosted Port City last week but had to play in Portsmouth because the Fire does not have a home field to play in. According to the coach who called me today, the league has been around for a long time.

I don't know how. I never heard of it until I saw your post. Doesn't seem very family friendly.

Based on that recap alone, might have to grab a 12 pack and head down to Spartan Stadium to take in one of these games. Sounds like a combination of Toughman/Demolition Derby/football

They could probably make a movie about it. It sounds very similar to North Dallas Forty.

A friend from West Portsmouth went to the game with me and I said I used that same reference.

North Dallas forty was a darn good movie, Bolt. One of them older movies that's still good to watch again and again.

I am glad I was on vacation last Saturday and was out of town. There is no doubt in my mind the article is accurate. I
know I will never work another of those games.
