If woodard gets his boots smoked by Pendleton again will the new AD pull the trigger and begin the trasition period that is swiftly approaching for the old and rapidly getting older burg staff?

Maybe a change is best.

Anything possible but I look for the new AD to be an in house guy so probably wouldn't make that big of a move in his first year.

Especially since Woodward was named the new assistant principal and AD to replace Shaw. Doubt he is going to fire himself

C'mon burgers. You're making yourselves look silly. By any reasonable standard, Ironton has a better football history/program/tradition than you. There's no more relevant measure, IMO, than head-to-head competition. And we've pretty much owned you. Take away the Vass years & it's even more lopsided. Plus, what if you had played us through the 70s & all the 80s ? You wouldn't have won a single time. Instead, you beat up on the likes of East, Notre Dame & the like.

Not to mention burg has only been able to make it beyond their own region like 3 times in the last 30 years. Under Pendleton Ironton has made it to the title game more times than burg has in their entire programs history.

I know Greenup's coach became an assistant principal a few years ago and was allowed to coach one more season and that was it. May be a similar situation. Then again, every school is different. Rock Hill allows principals to coach, and I am pretty sure Coal Grove does too. Fairland's Cunningham was a principal while also being football coach. I guess it depends on the district. Personally I see no issue as long as
1) there's no self-recommendation for re-hire (the recommendation comes from the next up of the chain of command).
2) they are able to perform both positions to the best of their ability.
3) administrator job comes first.
