Did Eastern (Meigs) ever hire a coach? Haven’t seen anything about!

I believe they hired an assistant for last year. Lloyd is the last name I think.

Lisath has another job so he works instead of doing some of the summer shootouts, practices, workouts

That’s why you get good assistants that you trust

That poster is just doing what I normally do and try to stir up ish, but Lisath isn’t the only coach who doesn’t work at a school so I won’t run him down for it.

Yesterday was supposed to be the yea or nay decision by Coach Lisath, so we should know within the next few days as to whether he is still the HC of the Trojans. If not, then the job will open up to anyone in or out of the district per PCSD Superintendent Matthew McCorkle, as he relayed that information to me yesterday when I visited him at his office. There is no job available to Jeff in the PCSD, so unless he has other plans the administration will be tasked to finding not only a HC, but an assistant coach, JV coach, and freshmen coach if it decided that there will be a freshmen team. There was a freshmen team last season.

A resolution to this needs to be made ASAP. This has gone on long enough. Not much time to hire a new coach before the school year starts in just a few weeks. That alone probably reduces the applicant pool, since many openings have already been filled. Hiring a complete staff will also be a challenge.
