Re: OT: McKenzie Long
This is a great story.
She was in Ironton in junior as she competed at junior high OHSAA state meet.
Freshman year she was off to Columbus for a couple stops.
My guess is that she can take that 3rd spot with about a 21.95 and beat Abby Steiner for that #3 spot on USA team. Steiner was the won who kept beating along in the state finals in high school. Steiner has been hurt this year and a bit short of typical form.
1. Gabby Thomas 21.58
2. Sha’Carri Richardson 21.69
3. McKenzie Long 21.95

What are you talking about lol, she won the Junior High track championship while at Ironton, not good enough to play what? Plus, ask her where she’s from, yes, she says Ironton.quizcap11 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 9:14 pmNever forget she left Ironton bc they told her brother she wasn’t good enough to play there!!ohbuckeye2 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 3:11 am Once a Fighting Tiger always a Fighting Tiger.

Re: OT: McKenzie Long
Congrats. Was hoping the girl from Dublin would qualify too but I think she's not all the way back from a season ending injury last year. Would have been great to have two Ohio girls repping USA!
Re: OT: McKenzie Long
The great Ironton told her brother he wasn’t good enough to play for them, so they moved. Crazy you all claim her after running them off lmao.ohbuckeye2 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 5:07 pmWhat are you talking about lol, she won the Junior High track championship while at Ironton, not good enough to play what?
