The shot clock in Ohio High School basketball is inevitable, but us "get off my lawn" type of guys will miss teams having the option to use strategy as an equalizer against superior talent.
They say nothing is impossible, yet I accomplish nothing every day.

Glad to see some teams willing to play with the shot clock. Hopefully it won't take much longer for the OHSAA to approve the clock for the entire state. Basketball is meant to be an uptempo game, and a shot clock will make it more appealing to the majority of fans like me who bemoan slowdown basketball. A shot clock won't totally eliminate the underdog as some might think.
The logistics of implementing a clock by the schools shouldn't be that much of an issue. Like anything new, there may some kinks to work out initially.

The only issues I can see or pushback from schools would be $$$
money to buy the clocks
money to install the clocks
money to maintain the clocks
and probably the biggest one is money to operate or work the clocks. ( maybe these are volunteers but you will need an extra person at the table to run the shot clock)
