Good place to start, I would like to see Caudill come back out for Minford, gives them a needed boost defensively and provides depth at guard, they will be very talented offensively with the 2 head monster of Kayser and Montgomery, need Shoemaker to stay healthy. SW will be loaded again, they're in a really good spot in D7, and Burg will be Burg, kids complete and know how to win.

Same top three as this year but could be any three of them. SW may not excel without Sommer however the elite JV players will be juniors this year. Look for McClintic and Beau Stephens to get a lot of playing time.
Maybe Corriel will come out this year too. Hope so anyway. Haven’t heard anything from the international transfer portal yet. Look for Shupert to have a monster season. His tournament run was insane. Roberts might mess around and score 1000 this season

Burg gonna burg but interesting to see how they do without Lattimore. Without DL last year they’re a soft 12 win team. Respectfully.

Just seen Minford just got a new kid. Really good player, they're going to be really good.

Yep...might as well serve up any rumor you got as this place not moderated anymore (see any Burg/Ironton football thread).*

Yeah, adding Haggy is a game-changer for Minford and should be fun to watch. Still question their overall depth, so will be interesting to see if Minford adds anybody else this offseason.*

Wow, Haggy IS a player ... thought Haggy has been playing all summer with Western Pike? has he played at all with the Minford team this summer? ... obviously a great add to the Big 3 of Minford - Shoemaker, Montgomery, Kayser & now Drew Haggy a proven scorer of the ball inside and outside , strong defensive player , great motor at both ends ... 4 scorers when the best teams are looking to have 3 ... Kade Glockner will be the 5th starter ... without Pica & Rhodes - bench ?

Sounds like it…very fishy. Someone told me they were being “shown around” the Minford area back in June. Guess when you can’t win with your own, you need to recruit.

It wasn’t a false rumor. Haggy was transferring to Minford and decided to stay last minute in the last couple of weeks. Paperwork was done, but his family changed their minds.

SOCFalconFan .... you are correct - it was not a rumor ... he had informed the Western coaching staff & players of his intentions to transfer to Minford ... it's all in the rearview mirror now, as I said Drew was at Western Pike High School on opening day ... the page has turned ...

Even with no Hagey Minford is still the team to beat in SOC III and the district, and Western will definitely be team to beat in the SOC II.
Looking forward to what could very well be a Western vs. South Webster District Final or Regional Semi-Final game.

Minford is very good bc of Kayser and Montgomery but idk about the team to beat in the league or district. They couldnt beat us twice last year and graduated a couple good pieces and SW has plenty of depth to give them abunch of problems

In the district d5 is loaded you're telling me theyre all around better than eastern brown who should be loaded and got some move ins, Peake is loaded and deep, ZT and us (burg) have enough pieces to give them problems and you can never count out ironton because of their athletes.

Good team but a team that has never won a district championship playing in the hardest se division (d5) I just cant say they're the team to beat.
