769 wins
45 conference championships
6 regional titles
3 state title appearances
1 state title
Never put the 2 stats these teams have together. This is mind blowing
Pretty good football players and programs in the northern part of Athens County for sure. Should be two successful seasons ahead for both squads.

Unfortunately as of now it appears channel 15 is done broadcasting games.. hopefully that changes in the future.
Just search total media Nelsonville York on YouTube Friday before the game?

Looking forward to week 3 and week 9 this year from a Viking perspective! I’m glad Trimble and VC have resurrected the old TVC rivalry. Trimble is always tough and travels very well. Can’t wait for NY/Trimble in a couple days! Should be another instant classic.

I think Trimble/VC will be playing for more years to come. No signs of the series coming to an end! Week 3 will be a good one, just like last year! Always an instant classic when it's Trimble/NY!

Trimble has NY, VC, Wellston and RV this year. To go along with their long jamboree series with Athens. Any chance they move up to the Ohio division? This is the first year a team from either division has played an equal amount of both divisions in one season. I’ll give Trimble kudos for playing the schedule they have. Granted, RV is there because both teams needed a week 10 game. I feel like Trimble, with the additions to the stadium, could absolutely fit into the TVC Ohio division. Especially with the playoffs taking 16 teams now.

I agree that Trimble could fit into the Ohio division. Plus NY/Trimble could finally move back to week 5 if it happened.

Just add Meigs and Alex onto the schedule and that'll round it out lol. Our schedule is vastly improved from years past.

I always hear rumors about us moving up every now and then. I think eventually if the Hocking shrinks bad enough, we will move up. If we do move up, I think it would make most sense for us to be Ohio for football only.

Man, I feel like if Trimble/NY could've been week 10 some years we would've been in for some great, great slobberknocker games!

I agree.. specially if you put a leauge title on the line. Not sure we would move Athens out of the week 10 slot though. I just would rather it be when both teams are hitting their stride.

Week 5 or 10 would be the perfect spot for the game. Either way, we're in for a treat tomorrow night at Boston Field!

Taking the Tomcats by 6 in a slobberknocker of a game.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

I’m only guessing, but I’d say you haven’t ever watched one of these games.
I’ve watched quite a few in my life. That’s wasn’t a jab at what I thought the score would be. That’s the overall record between Eastern and Trimble. Just had to let trap know he’s still got some work to do to tie up that series. Eastern will be good again this year.

Although, this is a NY vs Trimble thread. He just has to have his input everywhere. Good luck Cats!
FYI: you’re a tad off on your all time record between the two. But no matter, it’s been two in a row. We live in the now, just like Big Blue does against the team down south. Since you seem to be from Trimble, where have all those fans that used to be on here gone?

NY- 7
TT- 8 after converting a PAT-2 with no time on the clock. It’ll work this time. 😉
Big Blue is Kentucky, boss. In particular, Kentucky basketball. THE University of Michigan does own the team down south though. You're right about that much.

Bad snap on punt and blown coverage or game wouldn’t have been close. But was a good game
