Jackson vs Logan

Post by packers80 »

I might've missed it but I haven't seen much on JHS this year or this game. It's game week, let's hear something from the fans of the Chieftains and Ironmen.

Jackson will put a quality product on the field Friday. I would guess by league play they’ll be starting to peek.

Jackson will be playing JV after the half. Jackson might end up with 400 yds of offense and give up less than 100. I’ll take JHS 42-7, with Johnson getting 200 yds before his night is over.

Jackson is picked as the #2 best of the best in SEOhio by SOSA (Southern Ohio Sports Authority) ... big up front on both sides of the ball, solid skill players led by Nolan Johnson 6-2, 195 at the tailback position - big, fast, strong punishing runner ... the Ironmen do it in the air with size and speed on the perimeter ... I watched the Jackson @ Bellbrook Jamboree Game - Bellbrook winning 14-7 ... went back on Hudl and watched the scrimmage with Ashland Blazer - ALL of the JHS weapons were on display on the ground/in the air/solid physical D ... ...Logan has a solid senior group of linemen and skill players - Kaden Morgan/Chris Gompf in the backfield with 6-4 soph QB1 Carson Tootle ... Tootle will have a good group of receivers in seniors Jack Walsh/Jeremy Fraley/Jacob Kahrig ... up front the O line is anchored by seniors Elijah Yates/Noah Markin/Kallen Wilson/Dominik Graham along with junior Kive Rose ... Logan will need a mistake free game to have a chance ... 5th year head coach, Coach Mike Eddy, has the D leaving the offensive play calling up to Coach Payne the new OC - both will need to get everything out of there units for Logan to get a W at Chieftain Stadium Friday night ...

I haven’t heard much about Jackson this offseason so I’m curious how the line is going to look. They always have a stable of running backs and Johnson is a proven runner. Also excited for the second year starter at qb I wanna see how he’s progressed over the summer

Read earlier that someone thought Jackson looked slow on film. How’d that work out?

No one said that this year. The Paladin joke is old now.

Better go read pfloyd’s posts bud. He said it just recently. But yes Paladin was the original idiot who said it.

I'm not sure how anyone who watched their film would believe that. Jackson is for real! Ironton and Jackson are the cream of the crop in SEO. Logan has some tough tough games coming up in the OCC. Reynoldsburg is improved. Groveport won easily against Hillard Bradley. Lancaster destroyed Akron North. Pickerington Central is Pickerington Central. I do not see any easy games on this schedule. Time to get back to work and beat Nelsonville.

... I watched the Bellbrooke Jamboree game, Jackson did look slower to me than in the past (14-7 BHS) . I watched the Tolsia scrimmage and there was NOTHING slow about the Ironmen. Obsviously tonight vs Logan there was nothing "slow" ... a lot of passing yards, Johnson did Johnson things on the ground ... Wolford took the Chiefs secondary apart ... Jackson lived up to their (in many circles) ranking of the #2 overall best team in SEOhio ...

How’d the new OC for Logan do?

Grumpy: nice call on the score prediction!

But yeah, Jackson sounds like the real deal. Offensive line looks dominant. Wolford and Johnson in the backfield gonna eat behind that line. Next few weeks for Ironmen will be fun matchups as always.*
