Ironton didn't either until they brought it in. Didn't the QB come from Ashland? Terry came from Portsmouth West and I know he did because had a juvenile court person in scioto county tell me he got pulled over as a 16 year when he lived there and Number 0 came from Huntington.

Burg needs to figure out a way to get these skilled kids to come to Burg. Curious as to how Ironton is doing it because it sure isn't those scholarships. Are any of those kids from the last few years, Perkins, Keyes and Felder and any others still even in school???
Do the names Craig Stamper, Tanner Wilson (football) Klaiber in softball and currently a Freeman for baseball ring a bell. All 4 came from Ironton during high school. Quit acting like you guys don’t get transfers. I’m pretty sure you have had some from other schools too
Well, here's another idiot in the crowd. You are naming ONE player a year that came to Burg not 5-6 or I even heard 13 for this year. Big difference in bringing in 5-6 impact players over bringing in one kid.

You Ironton aholes can never admit that without those transfers you are mediocre at best over the last 5 years. Bet you don't win half of the games you won without those players.

It's funny how I talked to someone involved in the juvenile court system in Scioto county and they told me Terry got a ticket just a couple of years ago and had to come to juvy court IN SCIOTO COUNTY!!!

Keep drinking that Kool-aid Ironton. That well will run dry when your golden boy leaves for a bigger school. Less you forget your golden boy applied for the Moeller job last year without informing anyone he was applying. I'm just going to sit back and watch the mighty Tigers fall flat on your faces once the recruiting stops and then all you crybaby biatches will be back on here crying again how Ironton should just stop playing Burg just like you did in 2017 and 2018 when Burg was stomping the crap out you.

I love that Yappy claims 13 transfers this year (he heard it!) when rosters from last year and this year are available. #0 was new and that’s it. So you’re just off by 12.

Also Shaun Terry is from Scioto County because he apparently got a speeding ticket there? Because nobody from any other county can, you know, drive and speed in Scioto County. Also, first class spreading rumors of a teenager’s court appearance! I would be more upset if you weren’t just making things up.

I would like to say something. Please, Yappy, never stop posting. Your whining makes winning that much sweeter. I may even stop using Yappy and call you by your Indian name, Chief Transfer Tears.

I like to gove IHS fans grief about recruiting, but IHS’s recruiting is not the issue with Burg football.

Burg football, and specifically the offense, is a dumpster fire. Sure, most schools would love to have this dumpster fire, but the O is simply not at the standard that’s been established at Burg since 1972!

Also, this is not a recent problem. Started showing up over a decade ago and can be seen in many games over the years; even in years when Burg has been successful. Now it is no longer a random problem, has become chronic.

Hope these coaches get the O issues resolved but really not counting on.

Terry is originally from Huntington, transferred to South Point, then transferred to Ironton before his Freshman year. Ironton had 1 transfer in this year and he’s from Huntington.

If such were the case that would mean Ironton is beating Wheelersburg on and off the field.

Not sure about burg's 7th grade but burg's 8th won last years 7th grade contest by 30. So yes Ironton had some move ins. It is what it is.

Lol. I’m not in meltdown. Burg had the same thing happen right after they won the state championship. Had about 5 transfers come in. 7 th grade went from 1-7 to 7-1 8th grade.

Ask west fans. Two of their studs left. They made t shirts lol. They were not happy

Now not one of those transfers finished at burg. So we will see if the new Ironton kids will stay or not.

That seventh grade team for Burg was up 30-7 at the half last year at the Tank; game was a blowout. This year, as 8th graders, they lose 50-14? Hmmm….
