I hope it's a cautionary tale for all the rest of arnton's 'bigtime" recruits... it's all about fit. Good luck to all of em...

I saw him play in high school and it was easy to see he was the real deal. Unfortunately osu plays a horrible defense. It works for them cause they get the best guys in the country and everyone in college plays the spread. He needs to find a traditional defense 4-3 or 3-4.

When Terry decommitted from Notre Dame & committed TO Missouri his first reason he cited was he felt like he FIT better at Mizzou. 💯

Kids, be careful, or you too could one day get multiple degrees for free at respected national universities.

Yea... that's what we're talkin about here... lol. I'm sure he (oh...and BTW, you.) expected him to play 9 plays In 4 or 5 yrs... so stop acting like what I'm sayin isn't true... that fit is important... kids (and the adults around them) should be aware enough of where a kid can and can't play... I love all these "...but he's gettin a great education.." posts.. he for sure is. And that's great. But you're a fool to think that's what he wanted goin in... you can have an amazing career and getta great education at a mid major progran.. that's all I'm sayin.

I’m sure Reid would rather play than not play. But let’s not act like an Ohio kid being a 4 star recruit, going to Ohio State, and it not working out from a playing time perspective is some kind of cautionary tale either.

What about all the rest of them? I'm not saying anything negative about any of em... they all could have played somewhere...just obviously not where they decided to go... so why isn't a cautionary tale..? Go where you can be valuable..where you can make an impact. Never undersell yourself...but don't oversell either. Again. I'm just saying that fit is important.. and all these kids seem to be making bad decisions when it comes to fit.. how can anyone say that's false?

Really easily, you're missing one MAJOR point in your argument. You never asked biggest question, where does the kid want to go?? Ultimately that's the bottom line and you can say undersell/oversell all you want but the bottom line is if a kid has their heart set on a certain place why should they choose elsewhere because others might say it's not the right "fit"?? Which is exactly what makes your entire statement false and it's such a simple thing, as people act and make decisions every single day based on what THEY want not what someone who has zero input into their lives feel they should be making. Thank you, and good day

Exactly! Wish I would have had the talent to get a full scholarship and ride the pine at OSU.

It’s crazy that people view getting a scholarship as a failure if the player didn’t get to play! Insane!!!

Yep. I also heard the game announcers say his name on a couple tackles. He looked good. He will do well as their season moves on. I'm glad he got out of OSU. Burrow did good for himself when he left.
