Ah yes, it's week 2 and claiming state championship nah you're not bragging. LOL. HP has already beaten a D1 opponent that went 7-3 and won in the 1st round of the playoffs last year losing in triple OT in round 2. Good luck and I wish them the best but it's pretty idiotic to start proclaiming a state championship after 2 weeks, luckily Pendleton will be able to reel that talk in.

They definitely have alot of talent but southeastern ohio teams have only won in canton I think 3 times in the last 35 years. So statistically not very likely.

Getting by Prep will be tough. Then someone like Liberty Center from the north. Would like to see it happen but it’s going to be a tough road. A lot depends on staying healthy with the better schedule. Would also help to get Johnson on the field. I know they have decent depth but that kid is a player.

Agree that the Ironton vs HP matchup for this region will be a great game, slight edge to HP. Then after that there is Versailles from the mighty MAC that are in the way.

Ironton has a chance to win it all. The season can offer some twists and turns. At the end of the day if it is such a sure bet would you put up your house on a bet???
