They have a darn good kicker, and he’s only a Jr, a little of tonight, but I’ve seen him kick 45 yard FG’s in practice. He’s going to be just fine. PS: #82 is a Freshman

He was down for a minute, seemed to favor his left leg/knee a bit on the sideline briefly but I believe he will be fine.

Irontons D1 CB and best defensive linemen didn’t even play.

Fast defense. Very good QB. Solid run game. Explosive. Big play guys. Depth.

Ironton wins 51-14, could’ve been 58 if the last punt return td wasn’t called back. Ironton QBs are very dangerous. Noticeably less penalties this year so far as well. Jackson gave them a good fight initially before Ironton took control.

Jackson has a lot of work to do. Offense looked lost for most of the game besides about two drives. Which I’m not totally surprised, it seems some years it takes us a few weeks to get into a rhythm on offense but last night was rough. The thing that’s the most disappointing was the defense. Might have been the worst defensive performance I’ve seen in about a decade. It rivals the 2018 western brown first half when their qb was running around like Johnny manziel but we eventually picked it up in the second half of that game and almost won. This one was a train wreck from start to finish. Ironton has some phenomenal kids at the skill positions. Number 4 is one of the best players I’ve seen in SEO in a few years, but there’s no excuse not to have 11 guys rallying to the football, playing team defense, and wrapping up

never saw this coming Ironton is looking like the real deal.
Next week will be a battle for sure but they put a show on in Jackson and are showing they are hungry.
The first quarter was a little rough but wow when they started clicking they was nearly unstoppable.
Jackson will recover and win a few games and make playoffs easily no doubt but last night was going to be Ironton's night and they showed it with their depth and speed
