Didn’t watch this game, don’t know much about either team just seen some highlights. Gallia looked lost in those highlights, very slow and out of position on the 3 TD’s I seen.

Wow! Tough start for the Academy. On another note, Athens could win the TVC Ohio this year.

I feel kinda bad for them honestly. My graduating class had the worst team in program history other than maybe the 2016-17 team immediately after.

That season started with a loss to Meigs, then losses to River Valley and Meigs. Meigs just got thumped by a Fairfield Union team that's been pretty bad in recent years. It's not the kids fault and I don't want it to seem like I'm ragging on them. Just a lot of new faces and they're probably going to take a lot of lumps this year. Can't compete to win the league every single year. Gallia usually has ebbs and flows with how good they are.

On another note, I hope the Blair kid is okay. He went out early with an injury and didn't return.

I was close friends with everyone on the team and by the end of the 2015-16 year, the seniors all hated the head coach. A lot of them called him an idiot who couldn't call an offense. Losing takes a big toll on HS kids.
