No I mean your right it’s all we can do play teams that challenge you in your non conference. I think we do that even though vc is down that game is tuff we are always the underdog vs you but we can win if we play good just another team like that is what we need but I’m just trying to be real we would need to beat everyone we play by 40 if we want to think about playoffs and that isn’t happening now

Defiantly region 15 is way better for us but as soon as ohsaa gets tired of glenville cheating the system we will be right back in 16. As soon as glenville is out of d4 then miraculously Hartley and big red will be right back down in d4 and we will bump right back to 16

Unioto 14-10 at half. One of the sloppiest halves of football I’ve seen. 6 total turnovers. Unioto looks gassed and playing half speed

Unioto down 27-21 with 3 minutes left. Have the ball at their own 10. Unioto has so many turnovers and lack any athletes on defense. Amanda just pitches it outside to their fast RB and we have no one to stop him. Coy with a lot of learning moments tonight. Not going to be pretty next week. Waverly will throw all over us

Unioto loses 27-21. Not many positives from this one

So week 1 they beat down a bad VC team and everyone is high on life and by week 2 it's turnovers and lack of athletes on defense. If that's all Amanda was doing sounds like to me the bigger issue would be the fact that the coaches didn't adjust to help their defense make plays and that would be my biggest takeaway. Unioto will only go as far as the players take them, coaching isn't going to put them over the top. SVC play right around the corner will give a renewed since of life for the Tanks.

I was certainly wrong about this one. I would have had the Tanks all the way.

Just seemed like 2 different teams. Amanda rushed for almost 400 yards and Unioto had -7.

WOW, well Waverly can't run the ball so maybe they'll have better success next week.

Is Amanda taking steps in the right direction? They needed a win in this one. I really thought Unioto would be able to handle them.

One team could run the ball and one team couldn’t. Both had over 4 turnovers. I’d say Unioto’s defense was on the field for 35+ minutes out of 48

If we wanted to schedule up to help us for the playoffs in d4 wouldn’t we need to play teams that can compete in d4 playoffs cause those teams mentioned can’t. If you look at the waverly game we don’t really compete very well with them and if you take away the year we didn’t play and you got beat by Massie, you guys didn’t do any better than us in region 16. Imo we keep waverly and get two more d4 schools and just try and keep building the program it’s gonna take years of numbers going up and sustained winning in the regular season for us to be playoff team that can compete. Unfortunately for us teams we could schedule up with to prepare us for d4 playoffs would kill us and be long drives. We could play courthouse and trace, they would be tuff games and could make us better idk but those teams aren’t gonna get us ready to play teams in d4 playoffs
Then who would you suggest they play? Those teams are reasonable programs close to same size. They’re much better to play than the Huntingtons and Southeasterns of the world that you can’t avoid playing. And if you can’t beat the teams I listed you certainly aren’t going to beat anyone in region 16. Also your in Region 15 now which is much more favorable in comparison to 16.
Doesn't matter who you schedule when in region 16. Those schools are so far ahead of all our local schools. I say play the schedule they do now and go 8-2 and build confidence. Now they are in region 15 they will have a chance to win. It is also easier to win, when you are top 5 team in your bracket.
