Who are the D5 teams?

Post by Vik »

Is Ironton St Joe D5? Clay. I’m not real sure of what small schools have soccer or where the cutoff of teams is.

As far as I know the D5 schools are:

Minford
South Webster
Northwest
Portsmouth West

Peebles
Lynchburg
North Adams
Ripley
Fairfield
Eastern Brown
West Union
Whiteoak

Valley
St Joe
Clay
Western Latham
New Boston

Rock Hill
Chesapeake( I think)
Belpre
Wellston

Might have missed one or two

Leesburg Fairfield is Division V also.

Minford, Northwest, Chesapeake and Wellston all are Division IV.

There are 20 D5 teams in the Southeast Region. The list is correct except for Wellston who is D4.

Dang, 20 teams? Odd that track only has 3 divisions but 4 of those teams are D2. Seems like a wide range. No TVCcHocking

I’m interested in the D1, D2, D3, D4 in the district. Couple of those have to have low numbers.

Must be an oversight on the part of OHSAA
