Unauthorized TVC Ohio POWER ratings

I miss these ratings when Dundas used to do them, so I thought I would give it a shot and see what happens.

1. Athens with wins over Philo and Gallipolis is in the top
spot. A key matchup with Marietta this week could help solidify this position.

2. Nelsonville York with a key win over Trimble and respectable showing against Logan secures the number 2 spot.

3t. I am wimping out on this one. Wellston and Meigs are tied for three. According to Drew Pasteur these two teams have two of the top upsets with their wins over Piketon and Gallipolis in the state. Wellston is 2-0 and Meigs is 1-1 with a bad loss to Fairfield Union. Rockets win over Oak Hill was a must win for them.


5. Vinton County is 0-2 after tough losses to Unioto and Circleville. This week's game for Trimble will be a key game. Games between teams 3-5 look to be toss-ups this season.

6. Alexander is 1-1 and looks to go 2-1 this week when they face Belpre. Can they knock someone in the top 5?

7. River Valley is struggling but hopefully can improve as the season moves on.

There is absolutely NO WAY we are 3rd. Nelsonville has ZERO chance against us this year and it is NOT LIKELY that Athen can beat us either.
