Week 3: Belpre (0-2) @ Alexander (1-1)

Belpre leads the series 39-9 since they first played in 1969 @ Belpre where the Golden Eagles were victorious 46-10.

They played every year from 1969 - 2009. The series was dropped after Belpre went to the TVC Hocking in 2010.

Series resumed in 2020.

Game results since 2020...

Belpre 19-14
Alexander 55-14
Alexander 53-0
Alexander 58-0

Both teams are in the rebuilding mode as Belpre went 1-9 last year and Alexander was 2-8.

Belpre has played hard in both of their games and hopefully they will be more competitive against a team that is more of their skill level. For us to have a chance in this game we need to try and win the play every down and build on that success as the game progresses.

Not sure of Alexander's number of players but Belpre lists 22. 5 of which are seniors.
