Zt will win some games in the SVC on talent alone and bad competition. Zt’s problem is coaching. Coach Wears has this mind set or ego that he can do it all on his own. He has a small staff of coaches with little experience , that have zero input anyways. The product on the field with the amount of talent ZT has is pathetic and it has shown through the first 3 games, injuries or not. Last year at this same time Zt was 1-2 and got rolling in league play and finished 8-4 with lots of injuries also. Last years team lost to a much better Logan elm and waverly team for what it’s worth. I’ve expected a better product with this team having a full off season with Coach Wears.

It comes down to what happens in Svc play. Looks bad now but if it works you can play for a title. I don’t think anyone is any better than anyone else in the Svc, lot of teams can win it imo.

Yes. Waverly and Logan Elm were much better last year.
So was Noth Union who they beat 17-14 in 2023.

Agree. About 4 teams could run the table and go 7-0 in league play. Pretty even at the top IMO.
