Thoughts on this matchup? Adena looking much improved out of the gate facing a banged up Zane Trace squad. Could be much closer game than envisioned at the start of the season.

Adena lost to Amanda by 10, we lost by 6 so I would say we are pretty even.

Just not sure to expect from ZT week to week. Won’t talk about coaching, just not seeing ZT football taking place. Lower numbers and very sloppy play. I expect Adena to win this game if the same ZT team shows up (hope not)

The injury bug continues to haunt Zt. Seen where Johnson has a foot injury and will be out. I believe McCullough will be back but i doubt he’s anywhere near 100%. Don’t get me started on ZT coaching or lack of. I’ll take Adena from what I’ve seen 3 weeks into the season but I wouldn’t be surprised to see ZT turn it around either.

ZT getting McCullough back on defense would be big for them even if he’s not 100% to throw on the offensive end. Even with Johnson out, they’ll still have playmakers in Dunn and Stewart if they can get the ball to them.

Adena is vastly improved, especially up front. I don’t know if Adena has the horses to win, but this will likely be a much better game than I originally thought it would be at the beginning of the season.

That’s what I was thinking but everyone is saying how much better Adena is I know Paul is back running the offense is that the difference? I know there qb transferred out he was a nice player maybe they have new guys playing. They struggled with jv the last few years that I e seen, but idk what they are doing differently that has ppl excited. Do they still have that speed back from last year I know they have 44 still I’ve always been a fan of him

Simply basing my thoughts on Adena on the eye test. Have seen them in their first scrimmage and part of one game before I left to catch another. I just feel they have the old Adena physicality back. Im not saying they will win but are way better coached and seem to want to play for this staff.
