Does anyone know if McNeill is able to play? The was a HUGE loss for Valley last week.
Re: Waverly at Valley
I really thought Valley had a chance to be 3-0 by this point. Now we have a good chance at starting 0-5. They have some pretty good athletes on the team, it's just not translating to wins on the football field. Obviously some changes need to be made, but at this point, I'm not really sure what those changes are. The team just looks soft to me. They don't seem to like contact or initiating contact.

If I was crabtree,
1) get 4 on the offense full time for 11, he is one of your best guys can catch it and run it
2) on defense put 11 and 8 at end and two big guys at tackle move 2 to backer with 10 and 4, keep 5 and 23 at corner and make 1 and 84 the safeties

WHAT!? Either you're numbers or all messed up or you are moving everybody to positions they don't play. Checked the roster, this does not match up or make any sense. lol.Rolltanks wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 7:35 pm If I was crabtree,

Waverly 7
Valley 0
Half.
Valley missed an FG…and was stopped at the 2 as time expired in the second quarter.

Indians played great tonight and just fell short again. Penalties killing the Indians this season. A phenomenal play by Jehu Howard towards the end of the game to give the Indians a chance to go win it. The young talent is really showing in the close games this year. Anthony Aaron had a phenomenal game. Waverly however came out with the W with a great performance by Kelley

Valley will be a force to deal with going forward. I’m sad we lost. But we are making strides. Anyone who has been calling us out the last few weeks, go ahead. These kids are improving. The staff is as good as you can expect to have. I’m tired of hearing it. We knew at the beginning of the season that every game would be a fight. As the season goes, we will get hungrier and bust some teams up. Watch and enjoy.

Could not agree more pmow3! Valley played their butt off without McNeil. Waverly’s WRs were a load for the Valley secondary but Valley kept swinging. Impressive coaching to keep them competing so hard.
