You people in Lucasville are delusional
Valley has so many dumb penalties and has for 2 years now and the coach screwed the kids tonight with dumb decisions
Kick the field goal right before half get some points. If they did they would have an upset tonight. Just unbelievable the things that the valley coaches do. Our Tigers played terrible tonight, bench and coaches out of control and you just gave is a win.

Sounds as if the Indians gave one heck of an effort tonight.

I saw McNeil upset on the sideline. I don’t know how bad it is but it looked bad.

As for the FG, they just had a bad snap on the previous one. Maybe the coach saw an issue? But a FG at half does nothing for the final score, valley still would have needed a FG.

Waverly needs to wake up. A loss last week to unioto and now a one score win against the valley team that they should’ve beaten handily like years past. Those early 2 wins must’ve done something

Go right ahead. We are used to you running your thoughts on here.
Go for it. This community is just like all the others. There’s always somebody complaining. If you don’t like what’s going on here, maybe you can change it. All I know is he’s the best option. Nobody tries harder. Nobody works harder. Eventually, there will come a time that this team has success. They will do it for themselves. They will do it for the staff. The boys will know the truth of what and why. You’ll still be in the stands complaining. You’ve been doing it for years on here. That’s fine. The kids know the truth. The coaches know the truth.

Maybe everyone in the stands needs to coach or apply. Valley looked well prepared, played hard and were without their best player.

Penalties cost Valley tonight or they probably win. Valley had a chance to win.

You do realize we lost respect for you well before Nolan took over. It has nothing to do with you bashing the coach. It has everything to do with you don’t know what you’re talking about. No one gave valley a chance tonight. They played their butts off and played a heck of a game for the most part and you still want to talk crap about it.

All of Lucasville would tell you we do not always agree with everything Coach Crabtree does. It’s a lot easier to question things from the stands. However, those kids always play hard for him. You will not find a person that cares as much about Lucasville and those boys. Most teams would have quit after going 0-3 and losing there best player. We were a play away from beating a very good football team.

As far as the game goes, I loved the offensive game plan tonight. Waughtel looked a lot more comfortable. We have to be more disciplined and execute better, but for the most part I’m proud of how the team played tonight. Get healthy and get ready for week 5. I’m confident Valley will be ready to play Wheelersburg Friday.

I just don’t get it. This is the most talented team valley has fielded since their last great run and they are 0-4 with burg next week. You can’t tell me these 4 teams was better than valley and yet we lost to all of them. It’s crazy that doesn’t seem to bother anyone. I don’t know when it just became acceptable at valley to just win 1 or 2 games a year. In these 4 games it wasn’t the kids that cost us those games. I will agree that there is probably no one realistically that could do a better job but at some point the coaches hast to figure things out. We have one of the biggest teams and most talented teams around and none of that will matter.

I think you’re a foolish person. This team does have some talent but it’s a team missing its best player and breaking in a new QB. I read another guy say this, Valley is 3-4 TDs better than last year. They were getting beat by 40-50 points last year by the same teams. They played really hard tonight.

I will admit this was his best coached game this year. O my problem I have is not kicking it at half and not getting the safety’s deep enough to stop those long passes. This team has more than some talent 22 showed tonight that he is great. We have some really good receivers. Our dline is great. Our oline is amazing at run blocking and opened holes all night still struggle with pass blocking against the smaller faster lineman and could probably use a rb to help block some but over all still really good. If we ran the offense all season like we ran tonight it’s a whole different season.

Valley just can’t get over the hump. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but my question is… if this was a coach from the outside would they support him like they do Coach Crabtree? Some people get really defensive when you talk about the staff and is that because they are close friends with the staff? Just wondering if they would get defensive over someone else?

Great baseball coach not so much football. Probably a great guy, the on the field decisions and play calls are just not good. So the answer to your question is no they would be calling for the coach to be gone.

Man, this sounds like one of those what if games for Valley. I was shocked when I heard 27-21 and I started listening on that final drive there's no way I would've thought Valley had a chance especially without McNeil. Sounds like they might've stuck to the game plan for a little too long on that final drive and started cutting it close on time though but hats off to them on a hard-fought game. For Waverly I don't know what to think it's really looking more and more like the Miami Trace game was nothing more than a fluke and right now there's no way they could play with MT. Luckily they got them in week 1 but Waverly just has a lot of issues across the board, they've got to stop trying to throw it deep sooo much especially when the QB doesn't have any time to throw it. Young in the trenches so OL and DL play was going to struggle all year long and no running game to support the offense. Good Luck to both teams going forward.

I guess that’s fair to question if you are just looking at W/L and not looking at how far this team has come in 1 years time. This team was blown out every week last season. As someone mentioned you are breaking in a new QB, but for the love of god they lost their top player last week. I am watching kids out there playing that I never would’ve thought had a chance a few years ago.

I am friendly with all the coaches. I think they are great for school and our kids. My boy loved coach Crabtree. My opinion is that for where this program and numbers were when he took over that it’s going the right direction. Lastly, and I really mean this, if you feel negatively about last night then you’re probably not a person who knows a thing. That was a great effort when everyone expects you to be blown out.
