Not the Hartley of old but will have some players. I think Ironton runs away with it at the end.

Ironton beefing up their schedule has certainly helped them for a game like this.

I’ve noticed that Ironton’s Offense is night and day compared to last year in terms of penalties.

Ironton is averaging 51.75 points per game while giving up an average of 11.75 points per game.

They share the wealth offensively and then when you throw in a player like Terry, who’s really special, all bets are off. The sky is the limit. They can lineup in the wishbone and drive it down your throat or spread you from sideline to sideline and isolate their athletes to put them one on one for successful plays.

It wouldn’t surprise if they win Friday and go 10-0.
Harvest Prep is going to be the monster they’ll need to overcome.

Should be a dandy. Hartley’s junior RB1 will have a fine college career at whatever D1 level he lands at. Hawks also have a kid out wide who could develop into a deeply-coveted WR prospect.

How much of that ultimately matters, here, who knows. A lot has changed since the last time these two locked horns: the sum total of elite talent taking the field is higher for both sides than ten years ago.

Good old fashioned Friday Night Ohio blockbuster. Southeast Ohio vs Central Ohio. Ironton vs Columbus. Tigers vs Hawks again. Gonna be a barn burner in Tanks. My guess is this one will be packed. Standing room only.

Ironton by 3 scores just to deep and quick on both sides of the ball.
And getting better every game.
And say what you will every team so far has been put on a running clock and Ironton is still Ave. 50 points a game.

3 score spread on possessive Hartley? Yeah, let me find a casino RQ.

I'll be interested to see how Hartley plans against Terry. Ricketts last week wasn't the man of the match on Friday, although Ironton >>> Watkins.

Friday will be a good one. But do not underestimate Hartley’s speed at every position. Ironton will be challenged.

Could you explain that comment? I don’t understand it.

I would definitely lay a cannoli on this game having one of two outcomes: outright Hartley win, or a two score Hawks loss. Ground game by the Hawks I suspect will result in one or two less Ironton possessions compared to other games. Should be a good one.

Jaeden Ricketts is a WR prospect in the class of 2026 (junior) with an offer from tOSU in pocket. Really good athlete and quick. Terry is one of one in his athleticism, yes, but getting work in against other fast guys and good WR's (Ursuline's junior WR I think can play in the Big 10) means the Hawks have some exposure to what they're tasked with defending. Also means they have film to work from on their previous games (where could better angles be taken, webs formed.) They won't be novices to speed, at least.

Terry doesn’t have blazing speed, but he is unbelievably quick and his change of direction is high level

Watched the Hartley/Ursuline game.
- Hartley run game is typical Hartley. Both power and speed with numerous options.
- Pass game did not look good. Is Ursuline D that good or Hartley just that bad?
- Hartley made many mistakes and seemed undisciplined at times. Multiple touchdowns called back for penalties.
- Hartley D was a mixed bag, good one moment but awful the next. Ironton should move the ball.
- Punting game was atrocious. Terry may not be a factor simply because Hartley can’t kick the ball. Saw two punts in a row go for 8 yards each.
- Hartley does have athletes and depth. Will be the most athletic team and most physical team IHS has played this year.

Hartley will be an interesting test for Ironton.

Ironton isn't just terry that is the scary part.
Ironton has speed all over the field the line is quicker than in the past and seems stronger.
Depth on offense is ridiculously embarrassing and most of this team is from Ironton.
The defense is incredible quick to the ball Ironton hits you over and over like a boxer just wearing you out on defense.
The secondary has been playing lights out.
The D-line has been nearly unstoppable.
This will be a test for Ironton yes but I do believe it will be a test Ironton will answer and win in convincing fashion.

Hartley will be just as if not more athletic, faster, and physical as Ironton. Ironton will have to fight for the win!
