Ironton has speed all over the field the line is quicker than in the past and seems stronger.
Depth on offense is ridiculously embarrassing and most of this team is from Ironton.
The defense is incredible quick to the ball Ironton hits you over and over like a boxer just wearing you out on defense.
The secondary has been playing lights out.
The D-line has been nearly unstoppable.
This will be a test for Ironton yes but I do believe it will be a test Ironton will answer and win in convincing fashion.

Hartley is not going to be a pushover. Ironton will have to fight for the win. Hartley has speed, athleticism, and physicality! Ironton has played well so far and that’s great. Hartley is the equivalent to Harvest Prep which is 5 miles from Hartley, but Hartleys on a bigger team scale. Hell both teams kids grew up playing together or against each other. Ironton is a great team but Hartley will be a hell of a challenge and I know for a fact the IH young men agree!

Might be a game for the 1st quarter then Ironton will open things up and run away with it. Tigers by 30+

At this stage in the season, I wouldn't be betting against Ironton.

Could you explain that comment? I don’t understand it.
I would definitely lay a cannoli on this game having one of two outcomes: outright Hartley win, or a two score Hawks loss. Ground game by the Hawks I suspect will result in one or two less Ironton possessions compared to other games. Should be a good one.

Jaeden Ricketts is a WR prospect in the class of 2026 (junior) with an offer from tOSU in pocket. Really good athlete and quick. Terry is one of one in his athleticism, yes, but getting work in against other fast guys and good WR's (Ursuline's junior WR I think can play in the Big 10) means the Hawks have some exposure to what they're tasked with defending. Also means they have film to work from on their previous games (where could better angles be taken, webs formed.) They won't be novices to speed, at least.
Terry doesn’t have blazing speed, but he is unbelievably quick and his change of direction is high level
Agree 💯, the best receiving threat in the last 20 years

Watched the Hartley/Ursuline game.
- Hartley run game is typical Hartley. Both power and speed with numerous options.
- Pass game did not look good. Is Ursuline D that good or Hartley just that bad?
- Hartley made many mistakes and seemed undisciplined at times. Multiple touchdowns called back for penalties.
- Hartley D was a mixed bag, good one moment but awful the next. Ironton should move the ball.
- Punting game was atrocious. Terry may not be a factor simply because Hartley can’t kick the ball. Saw two punts in a row go for 8 yards each.
- Hartley does have athletes and depth. Will be the most athletic team and most physical team IHS has played this year.

Hartley will be an interesting test for Ironton.
They’re kinda known for not giving too much liberty to the QB. Up until very recently, the CYO programs were basically not passing the ball. What Hartley and the CCL have since done is set up passing leagues to get kids familiar with what airing it out is supposed to look like. Now, in the case of Watty and SFD in the short term that isn’t as dire (Steve Bellisari is on the staff at BW & obviously DeSales has RJ Day) but for Hartley it will return dividends. The Hawks in recent years have had some “being their own worst enemy” moments on offense that end up forcing losses, be it penalties, turnovers or just a lack of urgency. Those things are just baked into the cake of deeply-possessive football when the program isn’t as deep as 10-15 years ago.

Terry is faster than 95% of all high school players in the country.Saying he’s not a burner is  Sub 4.5 is fast, plus with his moves and hands has a great chance to be a great player at the next level.Has anyone run him down yet? Nope.

Look who he’s playing against. Saying he’s fast because no one has ran him down isn’t saying much.

He's fast but he's not linear fast or he would dominate track around here. In fact, the edwards kid is probably faster in a race, at least accorsing to his track times. But his speed is not what makes him good. It's his quickness, I bet his shuttle time is a whole lot more impressive. That's what makes him next level.

I agree he isn't linear fast he just has great speed to get past a defensive back and separate after the catch.
I mean it's not like he is on the watch list for Mr.
Football.
I mean he is so easy to stop and cover.
Come on Woby you just can't give Ironton or any Ironton player credit for anything.
Terry is quick and has speed he is faster than one thinks.
And yes Harvest Prep has some Athletes but no one on Terry's level.
Remember Ashland jump on Prep 10-0 and between a rain delay and lack of depth they comeback to win.
But Prep showed some flaws.
Will Ironton show some flaws this Friday night maybe we will find out but so far they have very very good and I believe they will only get better.

Didn’t Ironton upgrade their schedule? There were fast kids on every team they’ve played. He’s faster.I guess you want him to run against Usain Bolt.Doubt anyone on Prep can run him down,Maybe,we’ll see. There’s track speed and football speed.

I predict this week will be a awakening for Ironton. No more cream puffs Burg is down,Jackson was a young team, CM inexpierenced and first year Coach, New York team seemed to be really fundamentally weak overall and over hyped in my opinion. We will see if the world beaters with pro like speed rolls Academy. If you listen to them , they have already earned a ring. Good Luck with the overhype, After 10-12 games let’s revisit the all star team from Ironton. But Southern Ohio needs someone to step up.Region 19 will havesome eye openers in my opinion.

You can’t cover him because he has insane quickness not because he has elite speed. Some Ironton fans get defensive about the dumbest things. Football has never been about speed. Burg had a kid go to Tennessee to run track. Average football player. Football is about reactionary quickness. And terry is one of the best I’ve ever seen personally in that department. I think the rock hill stamper kid has some of that in him. Not as quick but similar.

That kid from Burg could fly. Won the state in the 400 as a freshman!! Never translated to football unfortunately.

E. Lattimore for burg ran a 4.35 40. He plays at Marietta. Again, there’s speed, then there is quickness. I don’t understand how you’re so touchy about it.
