I predict this week will be a awakening for Ironton. No more cream puffs Burg is down,Jackson was a young team, CM inexpierenced and first year Coach, New York team seemed to be really fundamentally weak overall and over hyped in my opinion. We will see if the world beaters with pro like speed rolls Academy. If you listen to them , they have already earned a ring. Good Luck with the overhype, After 10-12 games let’s revisit the all star team from Ironton. But Southern Ohio needs someone to step up.Region 19 will havesome eye openers in my opinion.
So burg, jackson, midland, st. Francis is all “down” and its not that Ironton is just that good. Got it

small minded troll!
So let me guess if Ironton rolls Hartley it’s going be that Hartley is down.
Now we have to wait till playoffs so you can preach that Ironton will get beat by Barnsville or slaughtered by prep.
Maybe Ironton isn’t that good but No One absolutely No One has come close to beating them.
And that is a fact.
Both can be true: schedule is not as good as originally thought AND Ironton is very good.
What clearly stands out with this team is the lack of mistakes. They are much more disciplined than prior IHS teams. That’s important for getting through the tough playoff games.
So how good are they compared to the other top D5 schools? Calpreps says they are very good and the clear favorite. Other than that, it’s not easy to predict.
As for the game this week, how IHS plays along the lines will be of interest. No team in D5 can match IHS’ skill players, but can they beat IHS in the trenches? That’s the question, and playing a team like Hartley may give some answers to this; especially Hartley’s running attack.
