This will be the first ever matchup between the two schools. Should be a good one. Can’t believe it’s already week 5.

I believe this will be the first time NY has played a true Hocking division team that is not Trimble. NY played Belpre in 2009 who was still in the Ohio division at the time. NY & Belpre used to have some competitive games way back when.

Yes they did. Series started in 1970 @ Belpre with Belpre winning 40-14 and the last game was played in 2009 @ NY with NY winning 49 - 6

NY leads the series 25 - 15. 16 of those games were decided by 7 points or less.

Buckeyes get the win vs H2Oford.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

I believe that this is going to be a very close contest, unless Farmer Yoder and his crew do the officiating, then it's H2Oford by two scores. :D All kidding aside, this is going to be a very competitive game, and depending on which Wildcat team shows up, they could very well pull out the win. And for the NY supporters, get there early, as the seating is limited on the visitors side. Be sure to visit the concession stand, as they have pretty good eats up there! Good luck to both teams!

NY players better tape up their ankles really good for this one. That field is like a cow pasture. Also, don’t expect to get any calls. I still think NY will be too much and will get the win though. But Waterford will play hard and there’s never any quit in them.

I thought Nelsonville would only play non league games on turf? That’s why they dropped Fort Frye.

Only thing I can figure is they know they can’t go undefeated if they schedule teams they can’t beat, but they don’t want to come out and say that so they used the turf excuse.

That might be the win that helps them make playoffs.

I can't believe they had to get their nice orange uniforms dirty and still lost.

How do you get dirty with A.T. and no rain for two weeks?
