Piketon held their own upfront most of the night. 16-13 at half. Turnovers and penalties in second half.

Looks like they have some size when I turned on the stream

Zane Trace had a chance to put the game away numerous times in the second half. Turnovers and penalties. Piketon had a pump fake-bomb that was dropped for a TD in the third quarter. Piketon ended their chance to win going out on downs at about the ZT 40 yard line inside of one minute. Zane Trace ran the ball well most of the night with probably around 250 on the ground, Piketon contained ZT from making any real big plays except for a few 20-25 yard gains. I thought the Pioneer secondary played OK most of the night as the Streaks found more success on the ground. IMO

I thought this would be a close game. I was impressed with Piketon especially on the physical side of the game.

Officiating played a bit of a role in the outcome of this one

Some interesting calls and non calls. Also, a TD that was said to be short, but changed 30 seconds later.

Officiating was not great, but Zane Trace made it no secret they were going to run the ball! Piketon just didn’t make enough plays on third down to get off the field! Zane Trace won up front and maybe the turnover battle !

Officiating was atrocious, mostly based on the first touchdown for Zane Trace. I don’t know if Johnson was in or not, but don’t call him short if you haven’t actually decided as a crew if he was in or not.

Piketon had more penalties, but I didn’t think it was unfairly called, just not very good.

Also, each team had two turnovers. Yardage was about even, but ZT had a significant advantage on the ground (259-175)

That was the crew we had at Amanda. They had no idea how to manage a game I can’t believe they got that game. Svc needs to start paying more or it will continue to happen but that crew is really bad I noticed it right away when I watched the stream

SVC hires the crew for SVC games, not Zane Trace.
Exactly, if you pay cheap, ….………

The nonsense with the clock at halftime was a bit odd as well

This crew should stick to flag football

Doesn’t the SVC pay the lowest in the area for other sports? Which, I’m guessing would mean the same for football. Hard to get the best when you don’t pay what they could get elsewhere.

Dang, another year for Piketon where they simply can't get past the big 3 and be apart of the top teams. This was a game they had to have.

Yeah I actually heard Tyler on the radio commenting on this and he took a bit of a shot, at least by Tyler's standpoint. As he said being on the road there's 1 second left and if we were at home it would've been halftime.

Must have not been pretty if Tyler had a comment on it.
