Jeaux Burreaux wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 12:33 am Who challenges Ironton moving forward? This schedule pre season looked rugged but now in front of them is the Canadian school who will have athletes but lack skill and depth on the lines. Pikeville is 1-4, Fairland(?) they haven’t really been tested too much by any of their opponents and they’ve played Ironton tough but I think the gap is wide this year. Gallia winless and Portsmouth very one dimensional
Can’t see anybody seriously challenging Ironton until they meet HP in playoffs. They destroying everyone on their schedule and have the look of a State Champ team. I don’t remember their 2022 State Runner-up team winning games like this.

Ironton on another level this season and just a fun team to watch in general.*

First and foremost Ironton is a great team and I’m rooting for you guys the rest of this season!! Your fans and players were class acts!! Fans made us feel welcomed and the players showed class throughout the entire game. My son had nothing but great things to say about your team and their class!! We will see you guys in Columbus next year and hopefully we can give you a better game! Much Love!!

LOL at least you admit it.
This Ironton team is a very good team lot's of people want to see them fail I know but they have met every challenge so far.
My big Suprise is the fact Ironton shut them out this Ironton defense is legit for sure.

Yeah Hartley just ate the first shutout in regular season history under their coach (last regular season shutout was 06 to Alder) and the only other blank was Reno and BR in playoffs. Those are nice feathers in the Tigers’ cap.

41-0! That is a very nice win.

Thought IHS would move the ball against BH but didn’t expect BH to be shut out. BH has the best running back IHS will see this year.

Assume he didn’t do much, and IHS dominated upfront?

They've done every game this year. I don't believe they'll be beaten and they bring home the trophy.
No excuses
1 & 14 vs Ironton, Jackson & Prep combined over last 4 seasons. Almost half a decade of layin eggs against ya toughest regional comp. Now do what that wannabe Ironton program does and run away. Lol
Your team just won a big game. It’s past 10pm on a Friday. And your thoughts are on Wheelersburg. LMAO!!!

You are definitely obsessed. I think we may have broken you mentally. Sorry about that.

First half was more bend don’t break, dominated the second half, their RB broke 2 or 3 runs but got caught from behind on all of them. A lot of runs they were getting hit at the line of scrimmage.

That’s reminiscent of the belt to a** they took in The Tank in 2010. From there, they blazed a trail. Sounds like both teams got better.

Ironton wore them down in the trenches the 2nd half.

Was it just my imagination or did Hartley’s play calling looked like they packed it in late 3rd and all of 4th qtr???

Up the middle for three plays and punt. No jet sweeps, no passes, no tailback sweeps????

Can’t speak for this game, but Ursuline beat BH into submission earlier in the year. Ursuline, who looks very similar to Ironton, just frustrated BH to no end. Their speed was too much.

It certainly seemed less creative, also noticed Ironton went less creative in the second half as well, a lot of RB wheels, but they mostly tabled the trick plays and what not after the Kayden int.
