Kind of sad how fast the season is going.

Game is at the fairgrounds. Not going to be many more there, so for the FF faithful, enjoy the grandstands. That said, I say FF by 35. Caldwell is on the downslide.

Is Harlan coming back? Power game with Crock will not work.

Herlan played tonight with a brace on. From the stands he didn’t seem to move really well but with a torn up knee that’s expected. This will be the last time these two play at the fairgrounds.

I think Fort names the score in this one. As far as the fairgrounds go, I think the students and the school will be happy to finally have a field of their own, along with the track and everything else that comes with it. With that said from what I’ve seen as they work on it, it looks like it’s gonna be a tight fit. Parking is gonna be an issue for at least a little while but I believe I saw where they’re hoping to purchase more land next to the new complex for closer parking.

It’s bittersweet. There’s a lot of tradition coming down that hill and having the bagpipes lead us down the grandstands. However, I’m happy we no longer have to rent it from the fair board. There was a lot of drama there. I’m happy to have a field of our own. People are still going to find something to complain about unfortunately. These kids deserve it! I really wish I could fly back for the last game in the stands.

As far as this game goes, man FF is tough. Caldwell is just way too banged up. This is a brutal couple weeks. There’s always hope, but FF I think is just too dang loaded. Offense has to score and can’t have stupid penalties.

How are the field conditions at the fairgrounds? Like most grass fields I know it’s gonna be very dry. But I was thinking back in August when I was at the Noble County Fair there were some bare spots. I don’t figure much grass has grown back with the lack of rain.

Haven’t seen the field personally but had a few rain showers in the past couple days and calling for rain most of the day Friday. Maybe it’ll be enough to soften it up a little bit.

I dont think Caldwell has the horses to keep up with Fort. I hope I’m wrong but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a running clock game

Fort OLine is small but they are so good. Fort has 4 wings over 10 yards a carry.

Don’t see Caldwells defense being able to slow that down too much. Even in Caldwells best win to date (Waterford) I believe the Wildcats put up a lot of yards on the defense but turnovers, including a pick six, did them in for that game

Look for FF to roll up close to 300 ground yards whether it rains or not. From highlights, Caldwell's horses don't match up with the Cadets.
As for that fairgrounds only been to games there twice and felt like I needed binoculars. The students will appreciate their new digs next season.

Caldwell down to 18 healthy players. They only have 3 Srs. Harlen is really struggling to move.

It's going to be a mudhole at the fairgrounds tonight, which obviously favors FF. I see a running clock in the second half.
