Portsmouth (4-1) @ Chesapeake (3-2)

Post by BuckeyeBlood »

Portsmouth should be the favorite in this game, but Chesapeake is maybe better than last year. Last year they played Portsmouth tough, final was 28-6. Looking like it’s going to rain all day, possibly during the game as well. Thoughts?

If Portsmouth and Fairland can avoid looking head and turnovers, it sets up a massive showdown next week.

I think the Trojans should win this game. They shut down Coal Grove, the Grove held Peake scoreless most of the the game against them. Peake has some size on their line.

The Panthers with the home field advantage, I'll still take the Trojans for the win. Weather conditions possibly being a factor, the Trojans have an excellent running back.

Portsmouth with a strong line and a few hard runners. Wet weather may take away some of their more explosive options but shouldn't keep them from doing what they do.

Weather should not make an effect. Portsmouth run game is excelling right now.
Both are well coached teams who have Ben around for the good and bad of the programs. Clap to the ADmin who supports and is patience with their hires

Portsmouth should take care of business in this one by 3-4 scores

Portsmouth in a yawner. Their defense really starting to pick it up the last few weeks.*

I’ll take the Trojans regardless of the weather. I expect Mr.Heiland to find the endzone several times tonight. Portsmouth defense is looking for their 3rd straight shutout. Go Trojans!

Unfortunately have to miss this game since it’s a 6pm kickoff now and the Buckeyes play Sparty at 7:30. Why you wouldn’t make this game kick at 4pm the latest is beyond me. I know darn well both AD’s know Ohio State is football king here in this state. Why would I wanna miss them to watch the Trojans hang 40+ on Peake? Silly boys

Sorry Trojans, can’t make this one with the buckeyes playing but you will be just fine. I don’t think this game will be close.

Trojans 45
Chesapeake 8

Trojans defense pitched a shut up out, peaks score came on a muffed hand off when we went for it on ,4th and 4 from their 35 ,they had a scoop and score.

Portsmouth defense with its 3rd straight shutout. Heiland with a big game, some very nice runs. Didn’t go because of Ohio State, feed was hard to see but glad to still be able to have watched. Big matchup next week against Fairland for the OVC.
