Burg loses due to a pick 6.

The OC will never, ever learn. Completely hopeless!
Got incorrect info. Thought game was tied at that point.

Only allowing 6 on D is impressive especially considering how green they are. Burg Defense seems to have grown since the Ironton game.

lol. There was 40 seconds left. They had to pass
It was 6-6. No, they didn’t!

Burg has the better kicker. Would have been better taking their chances in OT than to force a pass! Especially with only 40 seconds left and at your own 20!!!
You have the wrong updates. They were down 12-6

Yes, I got the wrong update. That makes more sense. Thought the coaches truly lost their minds.

They were on 20 and got a chop block penalty. They don’t get that, they may knock more time down and score.

On defense they definitely are. Front 6 practically all new starters. New corner and free safety

RBH you obviously weren’t there. No pick six. I don’t even want to argue with you. The kids played well. We ran it a lot!!! 11 straight times in the last drive. Had the ball the whole quarter. Chop block call 1st and 10 on their 20…goes to first and 25. We ran it three straight times! Kicked a 40 yarder and missed. Then got a personal foul call on defense that provided momentum. It was not a show boat penalty. The kid just got excited after making a play. Maybe you should attend before you speak. That was the toughest we’ve played all year. The elements helped, but I loved the fight.

Loss is still a loss. But I think burg can use this to believe in themselves for SOC and playoffs.

What’s to argue about? I just said I got bad info.

I dont know who is still playing with all the injuries every week and i lost interest after another loss to an avg jackson team but i think they start 4 seniors in front 6, outside backer(pirate, monster whatever they call him now) is a returning starter, both corners are seniors. So basically we can use the young excuse again next yr? This is just who the burg has been since 2018. Will always lose to ironton, jackson and prep. they will occasionally show up and make it respectable but will also just not show and get embarrassed. winning the SOC is now a great season. welcome to wheelersburg football in 2024

I think the score is very telling. Because World Harvest is very very good they’ve played some excellent teams and Burg was nearly able to pull it off. As it sounds outside of the pick 6 they were there neck and neck. I know everyone wants To drag burg through the wringer but I believe this will be a team that wins some playoff games and makes it to week 13. Whatever happens after that we shall see

Except the scioto co all stars were not developed well at the program they assembled in in comparison to other "all star" programs.
I wouldnt call Burg the scioto county all stars 99% of the kids that go to to Burg that live outside of porter township have been going to school there since kindergarten. Burg hardly ever gets transfers while they are in high school maybe every few years we might get a kid that wants to come play at Burg
IDC where you live if you have went to burg since kindergarten and in most cases your parents went to burg you are a burg kid and most would agree/
  Of course you do, Burg must of played a great game to keep the score so close.

This gives me tremendous confidence in Ironton in the Regional finals. Great game Pirates.
