Re: Northwest at Valley
Heck of a ball game, Runyon carried NW on his back literally tonight. Bender with a great kick to win the game after a terrible play call on 2nd down where the QB takes the sack and gets pushed back 8 yards. Just run the ball center it up and spike it and the kid is kicking a 35 yarder with no time. Broke his own record that was 43 with a 46 yard game winner tonight congrats

I just listened to the coaches show and the “terrible” play call had more to it than you realize. Coach said their RB was hurt and not in the game and the QB was supposed to run or throw it away. Keyboard coaches don’t always know what they think they know. Listening to Nolan on Saturday’s is always enjoyable. Goes in depth on things and stays so positive.

Re: Northwest at Valley
Congrats to Valley on the win last night! Anthony Aaron is becoming one of the best backs around here and Runyon for Northwest looked great as well. Bender is a heck of a kicker…what a weapon for Valley.
Valley got hot in second half of season last year and got to playoffs. They look capable of doing the same again this season as they will be in every game they play the rest of the way.
Mohawks are going to give West and Waverly fits…they win one of those games and playoffs still a possibility. Their line is huge and physical. Just a great game all the way around and good luck to both teams rest of the way.*

Yep RB was hurt and last I checked the QB was a runner but a pass play was called, so yeah terrible play call. That's so funny like that RB was the only guy who could carry it, lol. You simply don't put that on a teenager to make that call of run it or pass, so he gets sacked. Could've easily ran 14 ISO centered the ball up and made things easy glad Bender bailed him out.Dan-The-Man wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 10:12 am I just listened to the coaches show and the “terrible” play call had more to it than you realize. There are so many reasons plays are called. All you do on here is armchair Quarterback everything. Every week.
You should be coaching somewhere.
