Harvest Prep has the athletes and schedule strength to beat them on any given day. They lost a close game to a very good Perkins and beat D1 Pickerington Central on their home field. Didn't beat Burg as impressive but comparing scores don't always work. Liberty Center might sneak up on ya,,, watch your footing.....

Best? I don't know, however, I do believe in my opinion it is one of the best, probably THE best Ironton team I have ever seen. I don't know that I've ever witnessed a high school football team hit the field, game one, where they were as prepared as this team is. They impressed me as much as anything of well they each know their job...not towards the end of the season but to begin the season.a

I think the team Ironton played to the wire last night dominates Prep, Range & ML & Versailles. Prep is maybe the only team of the 4 with atheletes to hang in vs Canadas national team. If Ironton handles business i believe they are too much for all 4 mentioned. ( prep versailles sr & ml) this season.

Once in awhile a special group emerges in seo. WE ARE ALL WITNESSES!!!

Sidenote: Martinsburg WV also beats ML, Prep, Versailles & South Range & they do so comfortably.

Doesn’t worry me at all just know how the MAC is. Parkway was 3-7 made the playoffs last year and played a 7-3 Paint Valley team very close so it just speaks to what that conference is

.i see where drew pastuer has Marion Local & Ironton as the top 2 small school teams in Ohio.

Ironton is i think around 13th over all classes. Ranked a cpl spots higher than Toledo Central matter fact.

If Marion Local is as advertised then it is what it is this will be a moot point. Outside of them who else will they play that’s on THAT high of a level? Lucky for them they’ll have Anna, Minster, and Coldwater who are all very good programs and are expected to have success. So if they win 2-3 or all 3 then we won’t think much abt Marion Local taking them to the wood shed

I agree this could Ironton’s year! Aside from being very good, some recent D5 powers are in different divisions this season with Perry moving up to D4 and Coldwater and Kirtland being in D6. It could very well come down to Ironton and South Range unless of course the OHSAA pairs them up in the state semifinals which is always possible
