But pikeville play up and heard their announcer say next game getting back to class A schools. They play AAA and AAAA teams. They’re like Raceland play anybody don’t dodge

Pikeville has a nice team and a fantastic program. Much better than their record.

However, they could definitely use a punter.

They are a really good program, but not at the level of ML or Kirtland. Pikeville would be an average MAC school.
No they would not stop.
Pikeville is a better team than the record shows they play outside their size in scheduling.
Quit discounting Ironton's opponents Pikeville played a great game even better than thought they would.
maybe Ironton had a off night but they was challenged and won and they needed that.
“No they would not stop”. Would not stop what?

Middle of the road MAC schools are really good; didn’t say they were middle of the SOC or OVC.

But just not the cream of the crop.
Just worry about playing your power house teams like Oak hill and Lucasville Valley because those teams are really a challenge to you.

I noticed Ironton played multiple kids at MLB tonight. Is #2 hurt? I didn’t see him out there last couple of games

All the schools are A schools in Kentucky. Pikeville has 2 games left with 6A schools being the smallest like they are in Kentucky. Both of these schools would be considered Division 7 in Ohio and a game against a 4A school which would be a D3 school in Ohio. Don’t try to talk up their remaining schedule because it isn’t there. I feel we have to fact check some of you like they do with a presidential debate.

Someone doesn’t like to hear the truth that they aren’t as good as they want to give the perception they are. The team tonight showed you aren’t one of the best small schools in Ohio.

Pikeville came to play from the start. Ironton had to many players standing straight up on defense. As they got pushed around on defense. Offense was not much better. Ironton did pick it up with their first score. Offense put up points but the kicking game had trouble.

The 3rd quarter was a tie. When Ironton broke the tie it seemed that Ironton's defense changed a gear to put the game away. The talk about the greatest Ironton team ever and the best by far in their division in the state is crap. Because they still have to play one game at a time and show up and play the game. Ironton won but not playing a full focused game will end their playoff run.

I state Pikeville is a middle of the road MAC school, and you lose your mind. But did you give that any thought?

Versailles just lost their second MAC game in a row and will most likely lose two more; finish the season 6-4. Yet they will still be a contender for their region.

Again, middle of the MAC is not bad. We are talking about the best small school conference in the country.

Try to stay on topic here… you aren’t as good as you think you are. Time will prove this. You can try to change the subject but we are here on an Ironton thread. Move on because you have three OVC schools to play to round out the regular season. Prep was open this week and you could have scheduled them. We all know what happened the last time you played Prep though.

Your a idiot Pikeville plays up against bigger schools they do not back down fron anyone please know what your talking about before commenting
I know exactly what I am talking about… a 1-5 team played 3 1/2 quarters with your beloved team. What happens when you run into a Columbus Academy, Versailles, Liberty Center, or South Range team. We will just hear excuses just like we always do since 1989.
When you say you know “exactly what you’re talking about”, Pikeville came into the game 2-4, not 1-5.
