Refs bailed Ptown out with the fumble recovery call. FHS recovered it. Video showed it. Ref gave it to ptown. And Ptown coaches should have had enough sense to stay in the coaches box.

Shod Be a Grrrreat Game atmosphere.

Im not one to name a score or even a winner. I truly believe I am a Jinx to my alma mater .

I do think IRON is schedule tested, regardless of these new/er teams played being up or down this season, they still play TOUGH, to win, & ALL have the Horses to ding up some players, which is where we find IRON, @ this point in the season.

Get out of FairLand with the W, healthily, & KEEP KEEPING ON!!!

1 day @ a time.
1 game @ a time.

Ironton should win but Fairland can score and get on a roll. Ironton did not show up in the first quarter. Many players just on the field. As Pikeville players went hard at Ironton going down the field to score the first 2 TD's. They blocked Ironton well pushing them around. To many Ironton players standing straight up and not giving much effort. Like someone else would make the play. Offense was not any better moving the ball. If they start this way again and Fairland takes advantage of that. Ironton will be in a game like with Pikeville. Also need to do better with special teams which mistakes can mean points for Fairland.

The Ironton players and fans need to get over losing to North Canada. Playing it off as they were this great team. They lost to Massillon 45-6. Gaining only 49 yards on the ground and 157 yards in the air. With 70 yards on one play. Ironton then gave up a lot of yards and points to Pikeville. All the talk of greatest Ironton team ever and best by far in their Division can be given a rest til the end of the season. Because what should matter is the play on the field.

This game can be won by either team. Who comes to play and makes plays. While not letting either team get on a roll. It is a team game.

All of the picks of Ironton should just go back to the comments going into the Pikeville game Ironton will roll, rout and running clock by the end of the first quarter. Which if you watched the game you know it was a hard fought win. That Pikeville could have won. Why the game is played on the field. This week it is on the road at Fairland.

If that same crew that reffed last night in Portsmouth is there it might be fairland 28 ironton 7. But I think ironton puts a running clock on fairland.

Very true. Ironton has played a very demanding schedule, regardless if the “play up” teams are not as strong this year as in past. Ironton has faced Fast & Big, powerful lines. They’ve also faced some incredIBLE backs ALL YEAR.

They will be ready as they face the next two strongest teams in SEO (FHS & PHS).

I think this is very smart scheduling & will be good to see THE OVC’s FB premier team play tge FighTing Tigers.

Would love to see a repeat of the 2017, but will be happy with all the kids coming out of the game without any injuries.

Ironton has some big cornfed boys on that defensive front, and I don't think Fairland has played a team with that kind of size this year.

If someone can go ahead and turn the sprinklers on at the concrete palace the field should be bad enough that Terry can't do much and it will be a two score game at most.

With no mysterious water leak on the field I have
