Are you talking about a #21 for Trimble? Cause I don’t remember a #21 playing for Eastern against Waterford.
You know exactly who I'm talking about H20Town!

Tomcats are ready for the real TVC Hocking play (I hope) so I think they keep it close. Wish both teams a hard fought game and injury free.

Tomcats by 3!
Well, I respect a person who has the nads to support their team and make a prediction before the game. That said, word on the street in Chester is there’s a new OC on staff. If it’s who they say it is we’ll finally have some balance and start using all of our weapons on offense. Sounds like a new look on defense too. So, in the comfortable confines of the mighty East Shade River Stadium I’ll take Reedsville by two scores. As always Go Eagles!
There’s definitely potential for that if Trimble can’t find a way to contain the speed. I don’t know if Eastern needs new staff, heck they’ve put up 40+ points in 5 of their 7 games. I think either way it goes, it’ll be tight….I hope! I know Eastern is eager to get back in the W column, and I know Uncle Phil wants that TVC Hocking crown back before he retires, so it should be a good ole fashion good one.
You say, “if Trimble can contain the speed”! Let’s not forget that Trimble has some speed as well, and Trimble has some kids that will hit you every single play. I think this will be a good game between two pretty evenly matched teams.

100% agree with what you said. What I mean by contain speed is not letting them bounce to the outside corners and bust 30-40 yarders all night. I don’t fear that to much because if it does happen, Trimble will make adjustments. I think we’re in for a good one.

Okay, that’s what I figured. I’m sure our coaches will have a plan to contain “Mr. 21” when we play Trimble.

It’s no secret that Eastern needs help with their offensive play calling. Help has been offered and accepted. Ya better hang on fellas. Shitts about to get real.

We’re pretty dog gone close to game day. Thought this thread would have a lot more chatter.

Win on Friday, and you play for a chance to win it outright vs Waterford. Lose, and we are looking at a possible 3 way tie. That being said I think the Tomcats win by a touchdown

Trimble 21
Eastern 14
When did Trimble start kicking ? Thought they always go for 2

Well, when you’ve seen what we have the last few weeks it’s hard to make a prediction of any sort. One week we threw three or four passes and lost, the next week we threw more passes than we had the previous two years combined and lost. Starting to wonder if we’re trying to win or trying to prove a point. Hopefully we’ll get some stability and structure on offense this week. If we do we’ll win by a few scores. If not, it’ll be up to the players but if the coach stays out of their way they can still win it on their own. I’m taking the Eagles to win no matter.

Ya know what? The closer we get to game day, the more I like the GTown rutters. They've got more guts, and gumption, than those shade river iggles that have only played two decent teams, and lost, both times.

I wondered when you were going to show up on this thread SD. I know 31 really got under your skin so I knew you couldn’t hold out forever. I am surprised that you mentioned “guts” and “gumption” though with your Lancers not having enough of either to play all the conference teams. I think you’re wrong in your prediction for this game. And before 31 beats me to it, I noticed you haven’t made a prediction on your teams game.

Ok, so, Donnie, and your buddy, let's give this diversion about my "team", a go, and forget it. I supported FH when my kids went there, and I don't have to any more. So forget that, and quit using it as a diversion for your team's ineptitude and failure to achieve what you geniuses thought the iggles would bring this year. That's on you, and your unrealistic fanbase. Beat Trimble, at Shade River, and then you may have something to talk about. You lose this week, and no one wants to hear anymore of your incessant, unsupported banter about how "great" your iggles are.

Do the Eagles come in with some fire after the last two weeks and come in to make a statement, or have the last two games beat on the morale and they start to question some things. Gonna say this one goes down to the wire with the Tomcats pulling it out in the end

Not really a fan of either team, plus I have not seen either team play this season. From what I've read on this site, it hopefully will be a very good ballgame. I enjoy the friendly banter between the loyal fans from both teams. Being that I have no idea, I won't say who I think will win. Let's really hope for an injury free game for both teams.

WOW you really do seem to have a hatred, or envy, for Eastern and our fans. That’s a lot of weight to bear my friend. Let it go and breathe. Enjoy life a little.

Now for the game: just like last year I think this game will be a dog fight. Can the Eagles make it three in a row? I think it’s there for the taking.

Well, hatred is a strong word. I don't hate Eastern at all. I'm glad that they finally have had some success on the gridiron, after toiling in obscurity in the TVC for years. I'm simply fatigued of all of the inane banter, and as I said, Eastern wins tonight, I will be first to congratulate them, as the remainder of their schedule should be fairly easy victories. Even if they go down in defeat tonight, they will still make it into the playoffs and then we will see where they go from there. Good luck to both teams tonight, should be a slobberknocker.
