Re: REGION 11
They might be able to make it in, if they lost to both (IDK how likely that is), were Watkins to beat Licking Heights.
I haven’t done much deep math on if that’s possible, but Drew P projects LM at 11.85 for the final spot and Sheridan missing at 11.79 (his projection has LH beating WM.)
6 (D2 Licking Heights) divided by 99 is .06 repeating. I presume that Sheridan would make it in on L3 tiebreaker. Can’t remember if it’s possible to leapfrog by the difference of .000x in L2’s (can’t remember if the OHSAA counts out that far down the decimals.)

Re: REGION 11
Watterson has taken almost everyone to task this season, but your point is correct if Sheridan squeaks in "Enjoy one more week with your boys, Generals!" Watterson coming off a state runner up appearance last year and what they've been doing this year they APPEAR to be the class of the region.... Which says a lot because this region has been described as the states best competitive wise by multiple outlets.

#1 Watterson hosts #16 Warren Local
#2 Steubenville hosts #15 Buckeye Valley
#3 Tri-Valley hosts #14 Carrollton
#4 Licking Valley hosts #13 Indian Creek
The Miami Trace v Washinton CH game is L2 for Granville and it affects the rest of the seeding. Not on Joe Eitel yet.

Miami Trace won. Clearfork won. The second game gives Granville the L2 points needed to pass Athens.
so
#5 Bloom Carroll
#6 Granville
#7 Athens

Ok, so here it is. There is a Saturday L2 game that could switch Dover and Linden McKinley.
There is a tie between Bloom Carroll and Granville for the #5 seed. Which means it goes to L3 points. Bloom Carroll has more L3 points.

#1 Watterson hosts #16 Warren Local
#8 Jackson hosts #9 New Philadelphia
Winners play week 12.
Week 11.
#4 Licking Valley hosts #13 Indian Creek
#5 Bloom Carroll hosts #12 Bishop Hartley
Winners play week 12.
Week 13 the two winners of week 12 play at a neutral site.

#7 Athens hosts #10 Linden McKinley **

Re: REGION 11
No. Sheridan had beat both Morgan and Philo. Sheridan just needed to win 1 more game.
I updated the playoff games above.

The math I have for Warren, had Morgan not beat Philo, was 12.4925teach1coach2 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 6:56 am No. Sheridan had beat both Morgan and Philo. Sheridan just needed to win 1 more game.

as in, 850 / 94 = 9.0425
+ 3.45
= 12.4925
Instead it is, 900 / 94 = 9.574
+ 3.45
= 13.0245
Although I see where what you’re saying that a Philo win could’ve still eliminated Sheridan because of the half point L2 difference b/w Morgan & Philo factoring back into Sheridan’s average where the Generals would have (?) had one less .05 to the column. I think?

Re: REGION 11
Correct. I was wrong. I had forgotten that Morgan played (lost) to Warren Local.
So basically, Morgan did Sheridan a huge favor. Warren Local gets to drive to Columbus and lose by 50+ instead of Sheridan.
