Y’all too much, Portsmouth last touchdown was a gift. They reversed a fumble call that was a clear fumble. #StaySalty

Ironton 14 (seven safeties)
Fairland 0

Going to be that rare instance where the score happens to overstate the competitiveness of the game.

Fairland has played Ironton tough over the last years, I just think this Ironton team is on another level compared to where Fairland is. Ironton by 21

Portsmouth didn’t even score in the first half. I would consider that kind of stopping them. I also notice you mention flags but nothing about the clear fumble that was mysteriously ruled the player was down which allowed them to score and take a 7 point lead with under a minute left.
By no means did they stop Portsmouth. 200+ rushing. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's not stoping a thing. Oh and don't forget the magic OPI call that was called years after the play that stalled a drive. Hopefully karma is a real thing. Ironton in a shutout

Dragons will quit by Halftime just like last year…

54-14 Ironton

Ironton’s JV could win this game.

predictions come down to many factors. where is game played? what is the weather? who is officiating? injuries?

Ironton 34-14 at the half
Ironton 55-21 final

You know that was the one time it wasn’t competitive at all as of late. Don’t be a goofball. Fairland has been competitive with them, but Ironton is clearly the better team. I think ironton will take this one by 30 or more. Fairland has a good team, but this ironton team is their best in a long time. Ironton will get a lot of playoff points out of this one.

Kinda like the reversed intentional grounding call that allowed Fairland to score in the first? Or the phantom offensive pass interference that would’ve put Portsmouth scoring position, but instead sent them back to their own 30/40? Officials gave Fairland that game.

It’s like all the bad calls that happened in the game. Both sides had to play through them all game. Sadly that’s where we are right now till the refs get more experience. It sucks for the kids.

Oh I am not being a goofball just kind of stating a fact. Ironton has Improved 10x from last year, unless Fairland has done the same what would tell you this game should be any closer?

I think Fairland has the capability to keep the score reasonable for the first half.
As a Fairland fan my biggest worry is linebacker play. When our D was getting gashed by the run in the second half our linebackers were not making reads to make the stop. Seemed most of their movement was lateral giving up 5 yards many plays. These linebackers are not bad, but they can't be on their heels with this Ironton team.
Fairland will throw 1 or 2 interceptions due to pressure but still make some big plays through the air. I expect one to likely be a pick 6 in the flats.
Ironton hits harder than any team I have seen in southern Ohio so my hope is that everyone comes out of this game injury free.

Read today the Fairland QB is hurt. If this is true may be a rough night for the Dragons.
