Northwest @ Portsmouth West

I haven’t seen nothing on this one. What’s everyone’s thoughts?

I think this one could be a game for a minute. I don’t think the Mohawks are a bad team as some of them in the past. They have a couple athletes and can keep it close. However West does also. And they have shown the ability to turn it up when the pressure gets turned on. Gonna take the West Side by 14 plus. I think Parker is due for a monster game. With Bishops and Adkins rising proving their ability is gonna help tremendously. Any of those 3 can take it to the house on any play.

West is 53-3 all time against the Mohawks with an all time winning percentage of .946. Northwest has not won a game since 1998. I would have to think that win percentage is near the top in the state against a single opponent playing close to 60 times.

I’m not sure I don’t have those type of next gen stats. Probably not enough to make a legitimate excuse why you only have 3 wins in 60 years.

The Siders with the home field advantage should be enough to come away with the win over the Mohawks.

No sleeping over here at all. Matter of fact I think in all my years being around football here this is probably the most respected northwest team I can think of. I think West comes out super hot after sleeping on Valley slightly

West wins this one 28-13. Northwest pretty solid upfront though, so it'll be a 4-quarter game. But West's Parker/Bishop combo will be too much for the Mohawks in 2nd half.*

West up 21-0 at the half. Running and passing at will

The Siders with a convincing win over the Mohawks. PW's defense must have played pretty well.

Sounds like the Siders were clicking on all cylinders last nite. Congrats on the win.

West D held them to 81 yards on the ground, they was playing as a complete unit. Hall is looking more comfortable in the pocket. Senators played 4qts of ball Friday night

The most complete game they have played all year by far. All about peaking at the right time, hopefully they are starting to put it all together right now.
