Ironton seems to make good adjustments at the half, and score at will in the 2nd half.

Those big boys up front wears the defense down. By the time the 2nd half rolls around, the Tiger's hit all cylinders. That's what I've noticed in the games that were somewhat close at the half

Well, Fairland had their chance. This game is over. 28-0 just like that.

Not familiar with the rules on fighting but announcers on YT said their QB will be out next week too. Not sure who Fairland is playing but that’s another blow for them if so.

My brother in christ Fairland was almost exclusively running because their QBs were hurt. They were gassed in the second half and Ironton ran away with it. Complaining about passionate fans is certainly a take.

He wasn’t ejected from the game.

Ah, apologies, I didn’t hear what the result was and checked the replay on YT and that’s what the announcers were saying.

I have heard the starting QB may be back for next game. So less of a blow if the second string can't play. Although either way it would hurt to miss him as he is athletic and can play several positions.

If he didn't get ejected, then officials had no clue on the rules...the kids swung and punched two different ironton kids. Big question is why?

Ironton 41
Fairland 0

I wear a size large 😊

In all seriousness, Fairland had several opportunities to put Ironton’s back against the wall before halftime. Had Fairland capitalized on opportunities, then it may have been closer. I still think Ironton would’ve won, but it may have been more interesting.

Also very funny early into the game I believe #65 for Fairland lineman his helmet came off nearly every play early on.

Nail biter… in all seriousness, ironton needs to come out a lot hotter than they have these past few weeks. Can’t afford to start slow when going into the playoffs.

The score might not have been close but there was some battles between the lines in this game. I didn't actually see why the Fairland players helmet kept coming off but I did see almost continuously hands pushing up on bottom of face masks at the line by both teams. I don't recall any penalties by either line other than some holds but it looked rough in there.

Since playing Canada, they are much more tentative.

D ALWAYS SEEMS to get stops at crucial points & i only see the tentative play on stale runs or dropped passes.

They Then start to hold back, flatten, & loose momentum of games they need to control the pace of from the get go.

They’ve played teams with such power & strenghth, i think they are in a state of the IDKW2DN’s!

They’ve played so strong, proven to be a contender, & now they have the:
