Name one team in this area that plays teams that will help them win in the playoffs. I can think of one team burg now name anotherbucknuts09 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 12:52 pm But let’s be honest beating up SVC schools does not prepare Unioto for the playoffs
Week 9: (7-1) Paint Valley @ (7-1) Unioto

Re: Week 9: (7-1) Paint Valley @ (7-1) Unioto
The way Unioto is running the ball right now and dominating the LOS is a good sign coming into the game with Paint Valley. We know that Paint Valley will come out ready to got they will play hard and with a chip on their shoulder but Unioto has to be ready for that. Take their early shot stay true to the game plan run Braden and get him going let Coy see some success spreading the ball to the playmakers Hoops-Cutright-Zickafoose and Beam. Unioto possesses the ball force some turnovers early and go take care of business now Friday night
Re: Week 9: (7-1) Paint Valley @ (7-1) Unioto
Maybe this is the week PV lives up to the hype. Returned all those skill kids, and added to the transfer list. Yes they have destroyed the bottom of the SVC as has everyone but looked bad against Piketon. All about those lineman

Been watching PV Football for more than 50 years so will never go against the Bearcats. PV needs to throw the ball to these athletic Receivers if they can protect the QB. Do that and the run game will open more. I did here the backup QB quit this week not sure if he returned or not and haven’t heard much on the RB but expect him to play.
Going out on a limb PV wins if they protect the QB.

Im just excited for the playoffs so Unioto can play teams their own size.
Re: Week 9: (7-1) Paint Valley @ (7-1) Unioto
Don't make him out to be the God that everyone thinks he is. PV could be stronger team if they developed more than the "family/friends of the coaching staff". Overrated.
Unioto by 6.
Re: Week 9: (7-1) Paint Valley @ (7-1) Unioto
Backup QB never had a chance...even if Fauber went out of a game. I've seen PV a few times this year...shame he was never used as QB. Saw him throw in some scrimmages early in the season. He has a great arm (great baseball player too and will be one to watch next season in the SVC).Fatdog wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 2:13 pm Been watching PV Football for more than 50 years so will never go against the Bearcats. Plays are now geared around other offensive players throwing the ball, if Fauber can't. PV is mostly a running team anyway due to Robertson and lack of accurate throws from Fauber. Look at Free's yardage this year...it's in the tank compared to previous years.
Re: Week 9: (7-1) Paint Valley @ (7-1) Unioto
I’m sure Robertson is playing with that being said I expect Unioto to pull a piketon and just hammer on him. You can only ask a kid to do everything for so long until it catches up and it’s caught up with PV. Not sure backup QB quitting is news or not shouldn’t matter much.Fatdog wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 2:13 pm Been watching PV Football for more than 50 years so will never go against the Bearcats. I very seriously doubt Robertson will be playing..... and if not, there's no way PV wins it! He's arguably THE BEST all-around player in this area and as you said, a kid can only do "everything" for so long.greygoose wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 10:30 pmI’m sure Robertson is playing with that being said I expect Unioto to pull a piketon and just hammer on him. Re: Week 9: (7-1) Paint Valley @ (7-1) Unioto
The Urbana score? Or the Clinton Massie score the year before that? You remember those?
Re: Week 9: (7-1) Paint Valley @ (7-1) Unioto
Yeah comparing Clinton Massie to other D4 teams is pretty crazy but it’s whatever. I’m sure you’re coping because of how the game tonight is going
