I watched it Saturday , I disagree . Jackson was WAY more physical and from what I’ve been told Jackson is down.

You need a category for “should have wins”. Never give other teams any credit. Wheelersburg had kids laying on the field after every other play that game. I only hope we get a rematch in the playoffs.

Jackson is down this yr. A very avg jackson team by their standards. If the burg was ever going to beat them again this was the yr. Andys teams are always way more physical than burg. They can usually lineup and push the burg around on both sides of the ball. The burg kids laying all over the field play after play was embarrassing, very soft

Burg ever beats them again it will go away, at least for a yr. Until then Ironton fans will continue to remind burg fans of their dominance over burg and burg’s inability to beat anyone

This site is toxic about 95% of the time. It is almost always grown me arguing like 10 year olds and getting their kicks over high school kids. Some people are supportive and feel pride about their communities, the rest are ripping coaches and kids all over the place. Trolls left and right!

I understand that Ironton is a different animal but just about every school in the southeast is coached by teachers or community members for pennies and people act like these are NFL teams. Like new coaches and players are out there and schools have unlimited money.

Good luck to Minford and Burg this week. Maybe there will actually be some discussion about those teams and the players in this game rather than the stuff this thread is filled with.

I think you’re right. I didn’t have an issue with the decision to go for the win. Arguably that may have been the best burg team minfords beat.if I remember right minford had a very good Qb that yr that kind of took over the game and made plays when they needed them. Maybe a D1 baseball kid?

That was Aaron Oesch but I don’t think they beat Wheelersburg during his career. I think 2009 was the last time.

The other one I think a post above is thinking was 2019 but Minford lost 21-20 in OT.
