Green defeats East

Post by hoot »

Kids had to miss the South Gallia game last week with many kid sick or hurt. With 15 kids dressed on Senior night they fought hard to win 21-12. Congrats Bobcats .

Did the hire that was made not make the impact everyone was hoping? Green has athletes, look at baseball and basketball over the last couple of years.

Hard to make much of an impact with 15 healthy kids

I’m curious they canceled last week but played their senior night game, are they going to cancel or play week 10 as that’s another team’s senior night.

They canceled last week due to injury and illness. Kinda hard to play 11-man football with 10 healthy players

I already knew that, that wasn’t my question.

There were no injuries in last night’s game. As long as we are healthy and stay healthy, we plan to play.

Also kind of hard to build a program when a coach doesn’t engage with the athletes. I believe the baseball program have 14 kids, basketball about 15. I doubt they all play all three sports. There’s athletes there who are not playing for one reason or another

Yeah it’s been a few years back but Green had a season or 2 of quality teams, I have no idea what happened or has happened since then. They’ve built this beautiful stadium and spent all of this money for what?? No idea what is going on but they need to be known for more than Ironton’s 2nd home field.

58 boys EMIS on the OHSAA count is a hard curve to get around.

I’m sure it was the same numbers or similar to when they had those teams and they had 25 or so players out there. Same curve as so many have to deal with so I’m not buying the numbers game.

You feel better?? Obviously you do since you responded, I’m me and I’ve seen in 2018 they went 8-2 and made playoffs at 8, followed it up 5-5 with a good size team. Since then it’s been very low numbers very curious as to what happened it wasn’t that long ago. You probably have no idea about those teams but you keep posting buddy, you took the time to post such a nonsense post bravo.

Thank you, person with no apparent experience in D7 ball, for weighing in then.
