35-7 at the half valley really needs to think about pulling the starters waughtel is getting really banged up and Arron suffered a injury

Stated in an earlier post that have followed GH for several years. So GH played the best 1st half of football they have all year- special teams are holding their own and only 2 maybe 3 penalties in the 1st half- again best 1st half of football this year. GH track record this year has been play even in the 1st half and turn it on in the 2nd half.

Valley never gave up but was just out matched there was nothing valley could have done that would have made any difference in the outcome of this game

I'm sure that Valley getting beat was not due to lack of effort on their part. It's also possible that some of us may have dismissed GH's undefeated record, being that the conference that they are in was not believed to have been that strong. Sometimes it's just not in the cards to be able to win, regardless of how much effort is put forth.

Valley couldn’t or didn’t want to tackle 0 last night. He is a heck of a player. The injuries have just really hurt Valley’s run defense. I am impressed with how much Waughtel has improved at QB but Valley just doesn’t have enough against their schedule. They’ve competed all year but the schedule and injuries have been too much to get over, in my opinion.

Agreed on everything you said. Tackling been an issue all year, and against a kid like Ohlinger, he going to take it to the house if there’s not 11 helmets around him on the tackle.

But biggest issue of all for Valley been the injuries. Losing McNeil after Week 2 hurt Valley more than most people realized, and mostly on the defensive side of field.

Valley got a big roster, but it made up of mostly freshmen and sophomores. They have definitely improved and were more competitive, but still a year away from competing for league and a playoff run. Keep battling Indians!*

Pretty firm no.. I assume this can only mean you don't think anyone will be able to play with burg again next year? You were very fortunate to escape with a win over valley this year, as was west.. I would consider being a combined 8 points from finishing second outright in the league as competing.

If a certain player plays again next year for Valley (which I've heard from a couple of Valley peeps), along with getting a healthy McNeil back, yeah, league. With that said, Burg is still the obvious SOC II favorite next season, and for the foreseeable future. But I see West and Waverly both taking steps back next season.*

Valley should have no problems getting second place next year and will compete with burg if everyone returns for valley and no one transfers out then they do have a chance at the upset over burg next year

I'll take that bet name it Valley won't be top 3 let alone 2nd. Lucasville people are delusional about their sports teams.
