MOVL: Monroe Central (7-1) @ Frontier (3-5)

Both teams control own destiny. MC in R23 and trying to get a home playoff game.
Frontier in R27 and trying to hang on to a top 16 spot.

The series has to be one of the most lopsided in OHSAA.
Frontier 1-51 against the boys from Monroe. Frontier won in '04 (14-7) when Cougar fans from Newport to New Mat went bonkers.
Cougs were 0-23 against old Woodsfield HS before it consolidated with non-football playing Skyvue. Cougars 1-28 vs. MC.

Seminoles have lots of weapons, but Cougars have scored over 30 six times.

It eventually became one of the games on our schedule. Like you can’t be the senior class to lose to Frontier.

They should’ve had a couple more wins in the past 10 years but somehow MC has pulled out the win.

This year should be a little easier for the Noles. They should get to a running clock
