If the Eagles can come out and be ready to play and not give up a touchdown on the opening drive I think we can win this game pretty easy. Come out slow and let South Gallia put some points on the board first couple of possessions might be a long drive back to the village for the Eagles.

7-0 at the half. Eastern broke off a nice run with an about 2:00 to go in the half and and the ref threw a flag behind the line of scrimmage when the back was already 30 yards down the field. Defense looks good making South Gallia turn the ball over multiple times. Manley needs to settle in and get comfortable and start making some throws and the line has to quit getting false starts. Momentum killer!

Final

Hard to beat anyone with 4 TO’s in a game, especially when they are as good as this eastern team. The rebels had a big interception with 5 minutes left in the game up 12-7. Set up on the 40 yard line, only to fumble it away on the second play of the drive. Eastern then did what good teams do, methodically moving the ball and taking the clock down to 38.4 before punching in the game winning 8 yard pass.
