MOVL: Shenandoah (2-6) @ Barnesville (8-0)

Post by carbon_dated »

Shamrocks go for 35th straight regular season win. Lead all-time series 26-11 and have R19 playoff spot secured.
Shenandoah hasn't won since Week 2 and will certainly have hands full slowing down a Barnesville team 3rd in latest joeeitelDOTcom ratings.

Barnesville continues onward toward an undefeated regular season with a win over Shenandoah.

Barnesville is gonna have to start scheduling some tougher teams or they will never make it out of region 19

They could schedule St. Ignatius and still wouldn’t make it out of R19. They’re a great OVAC team but average compared to Ironton and HP. And probably even Wheelersburg

I know unfortunately they have to keep teams like MC on their schedule. The Rocks will be back down to D6 soon enough and they will be better off.

What goes around comes around. Let’s not forget prior to the 6-0 run the Shamrocks are on MC ripped off 8 in a row themselves. For what it’s worth, I hear the teams aren’t playing next year anyway.

Those MC/Barnes games are money makers. Why would the ADs agree to that?
Wasn't Barnesville a couple kids over from being a D6?

You "heard" wrong. They are playing next year week 5 at MC
