Week 10: South Point (1-8) @ Gallia (0-9)
Who wins the OVC toilet bowl? Both teams with lots of blowout losses by similar margins against most of the same teams. South Point does have a blowout win over one of the worst teams in the state in Symmes Valley.
I would have to say edge goes to South Point due to all the Blue Devil injuries, but the game is at the Swamp, so who knows? Stranger things have certainly happened.
Pointers win a squeaker 26-21

tf does Symmes have to catch a stray on here for? They’re one of the youngest teams in the state.

Uh, hmmmmmm, I guess I’ll go with the Pointers in this one

With the Blue Devils having the home field advantage, I'm going to go out on a limb and take the Blue Devils over the Pointers. I'm hopeful of finding a limb that's not that high off the ground.

South Point drops Gallia to 0-10 and just ends a dreadful season for the blue devils

To explain why another very bad team was able to blow them out. Symmes is young AND they're a small school in SE Ohio. Of course they're going to be bad.formerfcfan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 12:36 pm tf does Symmes have to catch a stray on here for? They’re one of the youngest teams in the state.

The point is that it’s needless negativity. They don’t have anything to do with this game, frankly. Why should they catch a stray because you’re upset about the state of GA football? Come on, now.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 11:18 pmTo explain why another very bad team was able to blow them out. Symmes is young AND they're a small school in SE Ohio. South Point has tons of injuries especially in the wide receiver position. The top 3 receivers are out for this game. But the younger pups were impressive catch some passes last week. Hope our #1 running back is back this week. Game could go either way!

Sounds like a boatload of players out, between the two teams. Hope the boys aren't hurt too badly, long term. Never want to see a kid get hurt, especially when trying to represent the school and community.
