I think we just left our best shot at the end zone on the 2 yard line at halftime. Ironton D is good and our offense is pretty predictable.Beergogglebluez wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:28 pm I thought this would be a bit more competitive. Penalties on both sides but I thought Portsmouth would put some points on the board.

Composure issues for Trojans as I expected and predicted and Ironton D line is just winning up front.Beergogglebluez wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:28 pm I thought this would be a bit more competitive. Penalties on both sides but I thought Portsmouth would put some points on the board.

2 bad decisions from the QB and a fumble. 3 football playsCarmen Ohio wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:30 pmNot to mention Ironton’s 3 turnovers…Carmen Ohio wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:23 pmIf you want to do “ifs”….Ironton had 2 TDs called back for penalties.PTrojan59 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:20 pm Would Ironton still be winning this game yes, but man I’d love to see what it would look like if the Trojans didn’t give them 6 on that fumble and have 24 penalties. They’ve moved the ball better than I thought they would, even been able to pass it and have defended the pass better than I thought as well. Obviously this is just the first half, this game may break the record for total flags. Have to be more disciplined.

They have had isolated plays but they haven't moved it with any consistency and Irontons D has limited the Trojans rb Heiland. Trojans one dimensional. They will have a play here and there but no sustainable drives to score. They have been dominated.PTrojan59 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:20 pm Would Ironton still be winning this game yes, but man I’d love to see what it would look like if the Trojans didn’t give them 6 on that fumble and have 24 penalties. While it’s fresh in my head, Irontons band was top notch as usual and then stayed on the sideline to cheer and clap for Portsmouth’s band.

Both really good picks by Portsmouth, especially on that jump ball with Terry.Gobucks740 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:37 pm2 bad decisions from the QB and a fumble. 3 football playsCarmen Ohio wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:30 pmNot to mention Ironton’s 3 turnovers…Carmen Ohio wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:23 pm

Definitely not consistently moving the ball, but like I said they’ve actually moved it better than I thought, especially through the air.ChecksNBalances wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:41 pmThey have had isolated plays but they haven't moved it with any consistency and Irontons D has limited the Trojans rb Heiland. Good news is everyone’s picking up where they left off in the first half. Personal foul on Portsmouth & holding on Ironton lol

Another unsportsmanlike and an ejection. That's what 6 or 7 personals for portsmouth? Lmao
Re: Week 10 : (8-1) Ironton @ (7-2) Portsmouth
Portsmouth is done. Zero discipline. I've never seen a team with so many penalties. It's every week. I feel like asking for my money back.

Broken plays. Nothing really sustainable. How many 1st downs for trojans? That stat tells ya what ya wanna know.PTrojan59 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:46 pmDefinitely not consistently moving the ball, but like I said they’ve actually moved it better than I thought, especially through the air.ChecksNBalances wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:41 pmThey have had isolated plays but they haven't moved it with any consistency and Irontons D has limited the Trojans rb Heiland. Like 7 unsportsmanlike/personals for Trojans and an ejection. Horrible conduct just follows portsmouth like a cloud. No composure at all.Beergogglebluez wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:56 pm If you’re ejected are you out the whole game next week?
Re: Week 10 : (8-1) Ironton @ (7-2) Portsmouth
Definitely not on broken plays. They’ve literally probably passed for the second most yards in this game for the season.ChecksNBalances wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:57 pmBroken plays.
