Re: D6 Region 23
Waterford played an even tougher schedule....you know what im hoping will happen....Itll be the first time we've ever played in the playoffs...Pretty sure the first time we've played twice in one year....and its hard to beat a good team twice in the same season. We proved that to Caldwell last year. The two games we played were vastly different games, they beat us....But only because we fumbled going for the win in the closing seconds...I'm curious if FF has played a team twice in one season?..I dont remember of any. But, I am kinda stupid

I wouldn’t be looking ahead. Fairbanks is really good. Also heck the way Fort has looked certain weeks Trail is no guarantee. Fort has been inconsistent.Chaw wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 8:45 am Waterford played an even tougher schedule....you know what im hoping will happen....Itll be the first time we've ever played in the playoffs...Pretty sure the first time we've played twice in one year....and its hard to beat a good team twice in the same season. Fairbanks Running Back Ryker Green was one of the most explosive players I’ve seen in quite some time. Almost 1700 yards on the ground. Once he gets any space he is gone.
Re: D6 Region 23
That's true. Beating a team twice is more difficult. Do you think there will be much difference in playoff divisions? Waterford's schedule has always been geared for a D VII run.Chaw wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 8:45 am Waterford played an even tougher schedule....you know what im hoping will happen....Itll be the first time we've ever played in the playoffs...Pretty sure the first time we've played twice in one year....and its hard to beat a good team twice in the same season. They did beat Nelsonville who just beat 9-0 Athens. Playoff seeding is mainly based off schedule strength. Just think Fairbanks lost last night was pretty impressive.efarns wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 3:06 pmThat's true. Beating a team twice is more difficult. Is Grandview Heights legit at the #1 seed? Just going over their schedule no one really stands out but then again I've not gotten eyes on any of them.

Fairbanks is well coached. Dave Carroll, the longtime Urbana and Dry Fork Coach took over in Milford Center last spring.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 8:59 amI wouldn’t be looking ahead.
